I am completely neutral as to Dianne personally. But am starting to think she is the opposite of, say. Giovanni in that he could almost be given the worst partner yet finds ways of bringing out the best in them. Dianne is given potentially good partners yet makes them mediocre.

Other than Joe’s showdance, and prior to the last few weeks with Robert which are still fresh in my memory, the only dances of Dianne’s I can remember are ones I remember negatively, mainly due to silly costumes: Dev as Aladdin and Max as Homer Simpson, the cha cha with awful choreography and costumes that got Max eliminated.

Hopefully Jowita will get a celeb next year, rather than Dianne

I was neither here nor there with Robert. Hadn't been blown away but neither did I think he was rubbish, just didn't really pay much attention to him. It's a shame when someone's hand is forced to leave but I struggle to understand why he would have chosen to do it in the first place, literally all the celebs talk about is how hard the training is

I felt Max left on a high and recall a lovely dance they left on, I think it was an American Smooth? I really don’t think he had much natural dance talent so Diane did pretty well with him in my opinion. The only person she’s had who should have got further was Dev.

Obviously I have no knowledge of what's involved in a Strictly fitness test or medical, but doing the show is clearly very physically demanding and add to that the stress of trying to learn a routine in a very short space of time and then perform it on live TV - it's not exactly like going back to the gym or taking up running a few times a week. Maybe passing a fitness test doesn't quite cover how all-encompassing Strictly can be

I think Robert wanted to do 'proper' routines and not be the joke candidate that Dianne danced around, hence why he had to go I guess. I liked him.

Whilst I believe he left because of his health, I can imagine he probably thought no point risking it just to be treated like a joke.

I can imagine the following scenarios (if they stayed in)
Halloween would have seen him dressed like Herman from the Munsters, whilst watching Greg dancing badly but looking like a debonair Dracula.

Blackpool he would have been dressed as piece of stripey rock wearing a kiss me quick hat whilst Dan looking dapper in a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious style blazer!

Robert said in his statement that he wanted to be an example to other heart patients, which is sad. It seems he overestimated his own recovery and how much SCD would take out of him. Hopefully the symptoms he was experiencing were mild, but it was clearly enough for his consultant to be nervous.

I do like Diannes ballroom. I think she is one of the better ballroom choreographers as majority of the other pros prefer Latin. I think her traditional ballroom numbers are nice but I don’t enjoy the gimmick ones.

There is a few pros that I just forget about. I always hope that Nadiya will impress me but I always end up forgetting about her along with Luba and Neil.

My friend who works on the show reckons all the other celebs have fallen out with AJ as she’s being a right dragon behind the scenes. I’m really disappointed as I really like her . There’s also rumours that she has waaaay more dancing experience than she’s letting on, apparently her sister is a professional dancer and has been coaching her for this for a long time! I tried to Google and search for more info but drew a blank so not sure on this.

They split in December, I think, when she went back to Italy and he stayed in the UK and moved in with Giovanni.

Well I googled and found an interview (from 2013) with AJ who is one of 8! She has two sisters and one is a Teacher but doubt she’s a dance teacher!

I think they’ll probably give Dianne a certified ringer next year - she is definitely due one and I don’t pay much attention to her relationship with Joe Sugg so that doesn’t put me off her. He was one of my favourites out of the ‘Brit crew’ back in the day - natural charisma and genuinely funny to 15 year old me.
I think because the likes of Nadiya and Luba seem to always be given tall men with little to no dance experience, they choose to teach their partners quite classic, basic routines with no gimmicks which are either forgettable or highlight just how ‘bad’ the partner is because if they make that many mistakes in such a simple routine, they probably won’t go much further. You could argue that doing that is better than someone like Katya wanting to show off her amazing choreography on someone that first started learning to dance 2 weeks ago and shows her up. Nadiya also seems quite reserved so the goofy routines never seem to go to her (perhaps a blessing in disguise) and it can seem like she hasn’t bonded with her partner. I think she’s definitely found a match in ‘Daniel’ though and she gets his wit. I’d like to see how she’d cope with a ringer next year.
