This might be unfair but as a CBBC presenter Rhys has more ‘ringer’ vibes than bake off John. Like Karim - I don’t think he has the audience or the votes.
it would be fascinating to see the actual voting numbers as they go through the series,how votes move depending on the board placement and who has gone.
 
it's still very early for an actual spoiler. again, gawd bless all the spinny chairs fans on ds.

I know it's still early, but I don't think this is going to be a 'journey' year - it just feels like AJ, John and Rose are just going to keep up their standard as they've been great at everything so far, and it will be between them. I would bet on Rose out of the three though - Giovanni is the most experienced pro and it just feels like his year.

Rhys is a good dancer, but a bit one-note for me - I can see him getting unstuck with a balloon before the final

Do the bbc ever release the voting figures at the end ?

I’ve said it before, I don’t care about having a will or funeral arrangements,
but one thing I am doing before I head downstairs 👿 is delete my bleeping images and search history 😐
Then they can light me up and send me on my merry way 😬

We were running massively behind tonight, and it’s harder to catch up when you don’t have Bruno to fast forward!

Loved the opening number 😍. A lot of the pro dances are lost on me but that was quite something.

Rose and Gio! I cried my way through it twice, the lack of singers made it fantastic from the off but it was stunning. I would have loved them to get a 10.

Rhys was good and his timing was impeccable but I don’t think it was worth a 10.

J and J was like watching two pro dancers. Where do they go from here? I think both AJ and John have plateaued already and they may find themselves overtaken by people who are improving.

I think Sara did well, Robert’s dance was better than I thought it would be and there was a definite improvement in Katie. Ugo, Tom and Tilly were forgettable and I didn’t think Judi did well at all tbh
