I think Good 4 U could actually have made a really good jive, it just wasn't delivered well.

Apparently Brendan Cole is doing DOI so he'll be the 2nd SCD pro to give that a go. Interesting...

I know it isn't as big of a show so the contestant wouldn't be that well known (though still better than a few we've had in past) but I wouldn't say no to a higher profile DOI pro doing SCD - we don't really have any high profile competitive figure skaters in the UK so I suppose they're the best option if you want to tap into that profession (they always kill it on DWTS).

Yea you’re probably right, the whole thing was bad I just meant the song doesn’t exactly scream jive. Current songs never really seem to get high marks either.

I think those clips are just the celebs & pros messing around, not actually trying to do the steps. I don’t think it will be as good as her charleston but I think she will be fine with the jive.

I think Robert and Sara have the worst pick by far.

Yeah, I can see a dance off between those two. Robert having a sore heel and probably not being able to rehearse that much is also not a good sign.

As much as their partnership/Robert bores me though, I actually want Dianne to make it past week 4 but it doesn't look good at all

Brendan’s highly promiscuous where reality TV is concerned, I don’t think he’s ever turned anything down - if there was a show about competitive celebrity sewage plant maintenance, he’d be first in line.

I feel like they’ve done Robert dirty. Fair enough his first dance was funny but he pulled it out the bag the week after and proved himself to be pretty good and put in the work. It’s like they need to have a joke act. I hope it goes in his favour

I’ll be honest, he’s been a bit of a disappointment so far. He looked really down and like he didn’t want to be there. If that’s the case, he might get his wish after Saturday. Kermit the frog . The only man to ever look good in green is Pasha!

I feel like the only couples who could survive a bad dance/scores because they have enough public support, are John&Johannes, Rose&Giovanni and Tom&Amy, maybe Adam&Katya and AJ&Kai as well.

I think that too. It kinda reminds me of when Anneka Rice was on in 2019 and had a good ballroom number in week 2 but then had to do a ‘silly’ dance to Kill Bill in movie week and was then voted off. She genuinely looked embarrassed and I remember think Kevin looked a bit crazy.
