Yea she apparently didnā€™t like him spending time with Gemma.
Gemma has always said they would meet for coffee on a Sunday when everyone had the day off, and they didnā€™t get together until after the series ended. Alexandra Burke struck me as someone who would like someone to blame for her not winning and that fitted her narrative.

Although the context was never confirmed, when Gorka didnā€™t get a partner the following year she wrote ā€œkarmaā€ on her Insta stories the same day.

Yes definitely there had to be a reason she didnā€™t win not because she just wasnā€™t likeable, she was an incredible dancer and her and Gorkas Argentine tango was one of my favourite strictly dances ever.
I remember her writing karma then. I was too busy crying over the lack of Gorka on my screen to get angry about it at the time.

I think with the singers is they are actually probably fairly decent and have probably had a large amount of professional training. But I think their training is way beyond pop songsā€¦ I noticed this on glee when theyā€™d give theatre trained Lea stuff like Britney and it always sounded awful. So when this lot are given these pop songs that have usually been fiddled with to fit the dances they donā€™t sound right.

Possibly unpopular view - donā€™t know where this will land because weā€™re running behind - but I canā€™t be done with themed weeks! Itā€™s not really fair either when Robert and Dianne have to dress up as Kermit and Miss Piggy, it kind of puts them on the back foot I think. Unless everyone is wearing silly costumes and/or doing a ā€˜noveltyā€™ type routine then it doesnā€™t seem totally fair

I canā€™t bear them, and for the same reasons: remember that time they dressed Dr Ranj in a huge furry monster costume with giant furry boots, then the judges criticised his ā€˜techniqueā€™?! FFS! šŸ¤¬šŸ¤£
