Possibly unpopular view - don’t know where this will land because we’re running behind - but I can’t be done with themed weeks! It’s not really fair either when Robert and Dianne have to dress up as Kermit and Miss Piggy, it kind of puts them on the back foot I think. Unless everyone is wearing silly costumes and/or doing a ‘novelty’ type routine then it doesn’t seem totally fair

It’s pissing me off that the last two years she’s ended up in some ridiculous get up. I don’t mind the theme weeks as such but I’d have preferred of Dianne’s quickstep had been a bit more classical(like the who she did with Joe). I’m pretty sure there’s non daft character movies she could’ve been given (yes the pros can suggest stuff but I do wonder how much I put they truly get).

Has it been mentioned that Neil appears to have very tiny feet, it was really highlighted when he was stood next to Nadia being interviewed by Claudia - very very small, half the size of hers?!

Kevin and Stacey did the Minion dance which looked like it was going to be absolute crap. I thought it was overmarked but they were the toast of the night and in the media the next day.

As a family show do the daft routines resonate with the younger audience who then pressure their parents to vote?!

Yes I agree with you he seems really close with them all apart from Alexandra Burke.
Also he seems to be really loved by all the other pros, if you follow them on Instagram he seems to be a constant in all their stories and Alijaz, Janette and Gio seem really involved in Mia’s life too! He seems particularly close to Diane and Karen too.

Yeah he seems really well liked by all. Him & Dianne were dancing together years before they were both on strictly so they have probably built a great friendship over that time

Will Neil be back next year? Nearing 40, been either benched or first out (except for Alex), fairly lacklustre choreo last night. I can't help but think that like with Luba, it just hasn't worked out with him. Nothing personal, I just wonder if they could find someone more dynamic for his spot.

I feel like I’m the only one who can’t stand Gio. Girls seem to obsess over him on Twitter, he gives me the ick. His hair looks awful and he just looks pissed off whenever he’s getting comments from the judges or talking to Claudia. He’ll say “thank you” but just seems really passive aggressive to me

I‘d love to know how much input the professional and celeb have into the theme for Movie Week. Something like Ugo doing Moana seems to have been chosen specifically for his daughters. Dianne and Dev got a great reaction when they did Aladdin and I sense she now chooses to go for the sillier theme to try and replicate that each year. She loves the Muppets and I remember her and Joe dancing to a song from it. I hated her Simpsons dance with Max but maybe this one will be better.

I didn’t think they had much option but Dianne has history for body paint and costumes ( steady!) so maybe they do!

AJ as Whitney, Greg as James Bond and Robert as Kermit. If Dianne is behind this then she’s not really learnt from the Homer Simpson thing
