Yeah that’s possibly due to covid but could be referring to other things too. At the end of the day no one knows the exact details of her injury and how well it’s healing so I guess they will just need to wait and see how well it’s healed nearer the time 🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope she’s able to take part, especially after missing out on the final.

Yes it’s in the small print. I think we all hope she will be ok, it will be a poorer show without them in it, although the JJ content will make it worthwhile too.

I think this is slightly different. People are actually paying money to go and see her on the tour so I think it would be unfair to leave it until the last minute, i’m sure more details will come when rehearsals start.

At least she’s just doing American Smooth ( fairly gentle, lots of lifts) and the showdance (ditto), so not too bad for her feet.

I doubt they would replace AJ even if she did have to pull out its probably too late now; Catherine Tyldesley had to pull out of the last strictly tour after sustaining an injury whilst on the tour itself and they all just carried on regardless; probably just means the show was over quicker by about 10 mins.

People will be buying tickets because they want to see AJ but the producers have covered themselves with that by not guaranteeing anyone's appearance. Tickets are for the Strictly live tour, whoever the cast may be. Hopefully though she's well into her recovery process and will be able to join everyone else for rehearsals when they begin.

Also, I'm just hoping we don't fall under more restrictions that put the tour in jeopardy. This year's cast were one of my favourites and it would be a shame for them - and us - to miss out on the tour.

@lizzolyn I agree that they wouldn't replace her. And if the best they could offer is someone else equivalent to Max George then I am fine with the show ending a little earlier!

Yeah the tickets go on sale regardless of who's in the lineup so people cant be shocked if someone pulls out or cant do the tour; its a strictly tour not a certain contestant and pro's tour.

Unless they can get one at this short notice and has nothing else for the whole of Jan and majority of Feb but I doubt it. Thats why they probably got Max because all the other celebs this current series either didn't want to do it or were already booked in for other things. Its only a few minutes less to the tour not that much of a difference; I cant understand AJ & Kai's frustrated fans but if her injury is too severe then its sods law I'm afraid.

That’s true. Would be disappointing for her if she can’t do the tour, but like I said if her injury was going to take that long to heal i’m pretty sure they would just say. Maybe waiting until the new year and for an appointment update.

Sorry for more Kai content, but I know some debate has been had about him looking like Luke Evans. It appears his mum agrees.
