Is it maybe time for Jason Gilkison to move on? As others have said, the pro dances this year weren't good so maybe time for a fresh pair of eyes and new choreo ideas. Would also help them widen the pool of potential new pros in future, they were a bit reliant on BTF for a chunk of this cast.

I dont think he's choreographed every pro dance this series.

There are so many other dances that are included in ballroom competitions they could do in the show like mambo, bolero, lindyhop, peabody the list goes on.
I also think it would be cool if they included some types of traditional folk type dances like flamenco, bhangra, irish etc. Admittedly that might be asking a bit too much of the pros 😅

And I did like the Fusion they did in 2012 but for obvious reasons the only one I remember is Kimberley abs Pasha’s. I don’t think it was done again?

It was an easy way for the judges to manipulate placings on the scoreboard. Somebody could drop from top to bottom.
 
Goodness me, Kai has gone serious ronseal tan! (AJ’s story), possibly to counteract the insane amount of make up rub off on his face from yesterday!

Nina was one of those contestants that turned up in Character, all those unfunny comedy sketches with Neil, she didn't get that on Strictly the audience want to SEE the contestant the real person behind the celebs persona.

I mean I think anyone would feel a bit embarrassed and take a confidence knock being eliminated first. I think it's quite good that she's being open about it. Especially as she wasn't terrible or a joke contestant. No doubt it did come as a shock. And she's right about the marking system making absolutely no sense!
I agree though, bringing up another contestant and saying you should have got more than them, and the whole 'how could I get a 3, I tried really hard! waa waa' leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Plus everyone knows what Craig's scores are like! Had she never watched the show or something!?

I guess it’s OFAH because of the “iconic” Xmas special 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ At least that’s what I get from it. Maybe Jay didn’t want a typical Xmas song and this is comprise of sorts.
 
In the stage musical of OFAH they have jazzed up the theme and made it into a number they dance to, so they’re probably using that version more than the original TV one. Still weird tho. But the costumes they’re wearing immediately say Del and Rodney!

Well thank you very much! I’d just got Feliz Navidad out my head after I heard it on the radio on Thursday 😂

I don’t think I’ll watch the Christmas special this year either, it’s like my brain doesn’t allow me to go there. Probably for the best, my FIL is more street than Neil
