What a poor line up for the Christmas special

Even the pros are a bit underwhelming!

I like Graziano and Aljaz and I'm glad Jowita is getting a chance but still...

I think Adrian Chiles was a last minute substitution, as he said he hasn't even met Jowita yet. I thought he said it was vey last minute in his interview. Maybe Gorka was doing the Xmas special and his Celeb got covid.

It's very odd that they haven't even met yet, let alone started rehearsing! Also wondering whether Moira Stewart was last minute too, as Aljaz was only very recently available

It says they are filming it 7th Dec so I guess they have time to train for one dance. Ive never liked the Christmas Special that much its always been a bit of an anti climax after the series final.

It seems the bigger name pros are staying away from the Christmas special this year. I would imagine they maybe choose not to do it.

I don't think they get the choice, it's part of the Strictly contract I don't think they even get paid any extra for it.

Not sure what the issue is with Motsi going 'back and forth', everyone involved in the show has the right to do what they want in their spare time, and we are not in a lockdown nor banned from travelling to Germany, at least at the moment. Not sure how the BBC could stop her from travelling....

Not sure what the issue is with Motsi going 'back and forth', everyone involved in the show has the right to do what they want in their spare time, and we are not in a lockdown nor banned from travelling to Germany, at least at the moment. Not sure how the BBC could stop her from travelling....

If Dan goes, he’s going to have the most British exit in the history of Strictly - he’ll talk a lot but he’ll remain calm, hide his disappointed and make sure the cameras have stopped rolling before he falls to his knees and wails
