It's a shame because I thought they made a real effort last year with musicals week to make it more about the theatre and have some newer shows featured, but this year apart from Matilda (which didn't work at all to imo), it was back to the usual numbers. Dan's dance could have been done in any week of the competition
Yeah last year I loved Ranvir doing 'She Used to Be Mine' from Waitress. And HRVY and Janette were brilliant in One (Singular Sensation)

I don't agree when someone uses the phrase "they've been voted off Strictly". We vote for who we want to keep IN, so yes by default whoever goes out isn't as popular, but it's not true to say millions voted them off, we don't actively vote someone out!
I wish you could vote like this! Always think this for Strictly and I’m a Celeb - you should have a vote for who leaves!

Why not just put spoiler commentary underneath a spoiler tag? It's very easy to do. If the show has aired, all discussion about what happened is fair game, but otherwise I think it's reasonable for people to be able to discuss last night's episode and not be spoiled, even by hints.

I have to admit, I wanted Chris Hollins to win. I was so desperate for him to win I begged my dad to phone in and vote for him. I was only 7 though and probably liked him because he was funny and actually knew who he was. 🤣
Don’t worry about it, he would’ve been secretly voting for Ricky and Natalie instead 😉

Put that chin away !

Carrie is not happy
That was the most asexual dance about love I have ever seen, Matthew Bourne!! Amy did all the work and Tom’s love was so unrequited, it looked like they’d never even met before!

This is how I feel about them too 😂🙈
They could sit on the dance floor and do duck all and I'd still love them!
I wonder if Gio will get the win this year? He is undoubtedly a very talented choreographer and a great teacher, but I think Rose is just fantastic! What a refreshing outlook - not just about being deaf but doing Strictly for the enjoyment, being willing to take direction and learn, forging a good relationship with her partner and becoming firm friends. I obvs appreciate Gio’s involvement but if they do win, I think it will be mostly down to Rose

If they tried to create the dream Strictly contestant in a lab, I think the result wouldn't be too far off Rose - likeable, engaging, attractive, great attitude, charismatic, dance ability without being a ringer, great chemistry with partner and not a trace of ego! I will be astonished if her and Gio don't win

Edit: I forgot to add inspirational backstory!

(This isn't shade at Rose btw - I think she's great, but she really is the perfect contestant)

Um Carrie, I think it was Tom who didn't understand the assignment. How is the viewer supposed to read any of that when the performer is as wooden as he is!?

I love Matthew Bourne but he's wrong here. I knew that the dance was meant to show the pain of unrequited love, which only made the dance worse because it didn't show any of that. It wasn't clear that Amy (Eponine) was in love with Tom (Marius) or that the love wasn't returned. I've seen more emotion from a cardboard cutout of Keanu Reeves.
