Steve’s vlogs #4. Always wishing away the week, Life with Steve looks very bleak 😬

personally I don't think lacey has much wrong with her just likes to be the centre of attention and is a bad kid and kicks off or scowls when shes not centre of attention or getting everything or someone else is talking and has something good to tell about only reason they home schooled her was so steve didn't have to find work when chole started school full time and because they are on benefits
I think this is quite unfair and untrue tbh apart from the reason for homeschooling.

its my opinion when ever they film in the car and someone else is talking she is scowling and when you watch over the years all she did was have tantrums when others had friends parties to go to or when jasmine was there always had to play up the only thing she did was sway backwards and forwards my little boy has learning issues worse then lacey at at the moment is still in normal school another family member has autism quite bad and has left school with gcse s now goes to college the thing is both steve and rache are both lazy and want the easy life also the kids never seem to be told no orthey give in and get the kids the lastest tech at xmas no offence to anyone but its down to giving chloe the tablets from a young age she cant speak properly her speech is very bad needs more help with that and when steve has her sing the most annoying song friday, satuarday song it makes her sound like an idiot they both dont seem to care about any of the kids education steve has anixety and he makes his kids have it too with the way he acts

Sorry but you can't paint all autistic people with the same brush. It is such a huge spectrum and children with autism who manage to achieve such milestones like GCSEs and a healthy social life don't invalidate the ones who struggle to leave the house or can't cope in a classroom. I don't watch the vlogs very often anymore but I was an avid viewer back in the day and can't say I noticed her rolling her eyes when people were talking - she is a teenager now which might explain why she comes across as selfish and isn't interested in hearing about what others have done. That isn't anything to do with her autism though and I won't sit and judge a child who hasn't asked to be put on the internet daily for everyone to watch. Regarding the tantrums, which I would describe as meltdowns, again down to her autism, I always remember her being extremely stressed when something like a birthday party or a big change in routine was looming. I don't remember her crying because others were going to parties and she wasn't, moreso because she was terrified of going herself. Having another person in her home (Jasmine) who wasn't a 'regular' must have been really confusing for Lacey as a child, even if it is her sister. I do think Steve has massively blown this anxiety out of proportion to justify homeschooling her though. I believe Lacey had a 1:1 or some form of regular support at school which wouldn't have been funded if there wasn't a lot of concrete evidence that she needed one. I really sympathise with your situation with your son - I work at a primary school and there are more and more children each year who clearly aren't in the right setting or don't have the right support but there simply isn't enough funding or places at SEN schools. Steve and Rache are big lovers of lazy parenting for a quiet life but I don't think that makes Lacey's autism and the many struggles that go along with that less real.

On another note, why was Steve waving a camera at Lacey and asking her a million questions when she went outside to be sick from a migraine and why did he leave it in the vlog? Maybe the kids should do that to him the next time he has a dodgy stomach and is vomming all over the bathroom:sick:

i understand that and i m not judging people with any learning disability i m a carer to my partner with disabilities and have dealt with his struggles daily my son gets the best help available to him because we made sure of it not leave it like parents that aren't bothered about their kids do and no offence to lacey she could be on the spectrum but i just don't think she is and that is same with steve don't think anything is wrong with him either he just lazy and doesnt want to work its people like him that making it harder for people with actually issues get the help that they need or deserve

Autism isn't a learning disability. Some people with autism do have learning disabilities, but not all of them. Everyone is different. That's why it's called a spectrum. I definitely see some signs in Lacey, but as has been said, Steve really doesn't help her with his negativity. They really would've been better seeing someone in a more professional capacity to teach Steve and Rachael how to interact with her. They don't have a clue unfortunately.

I mean Lacey was diagnosed after months of tests and observations etc so she does have it. I suspect she is good at masking her most ‘severe’ traits when she is in public or being filmed though she has had a few public meltdowns which were very distressing for all involved which I don’t think Steve would lie about. Steve has just seen it as his golden ticket to get out of ever working again when the special provision would’ve probably been huge progress for her.

I think Lacey is on the mild end of the spectrum she certainly isn't as incapable as they make out to be. You're right in that she did throw a tantrum most school mornings - what kid doesn't. But she was genuinely assessed and offered a place at the specialist school. Obviously her dopey parents have used that to their advantage rather than give Lacey the best platform to have some sort of positive future.

Lacey is now savvy enough to know she gets it easy compared to her siblings. So there is no desire from her or the dopey duo to change anything about her scenario. She just looks utterly bored most days now and will be doing those 7 year old spelling workbooks when she is 16.

It's all rather sad really as she only has two more years of this, which will fly past and then she's in the real world with no qualifications, no life skills, no social skills and no platform for progressing with an adult life without dependency. You can already see where her path goes and unfortunately it's heading for rocky ground.

Steve filming her for the vlog when she was clearly in distress was horrible to watch its almost as if he always has to show her struggling to justify his decision to keep her at home 24/7.

They really need some sort of intervention as a family in order for things to change and improve for all of them.

What on earth is he’s doing filming Lacey sat by the toilet while she’s sick?!! Shoving the camera in her face while she’s clearly upset is disgusting and then her throwing up outside and posting it on you tube for a few quid.
He’s got no respect for any of those poor kids privacy
If you look at one of the videos with most views it's one where one of the girls is sitting on the floor beside the toilet. In fact most of the most viewed ones are where someone was ill. He's probably hoping for a high viewing video again!

First time watchinf for a while. Wow he’s sure put the weight on
I was the same i hadn’t watched for some time and was shocked how he’s piling it on, yet he’s still baffled he gets a bad stomach/headache/can’t sleep.

There’s no encouragement or anything in that house. A few times Chloe has been filmed telling Steve what she’s done in school, and he’s just rolling his eyes and clearly irritated.

Liam with his cross country and steve was more proud of the fact Liam walked most of it and didn’t run, nothing positive to say.
The only time Steve had any enthusiasm about him was when he was talking about Lacey being unwell
They are both awful parents and i’m shocked they can’t see the damage they are doing

I was watching old vlogs the other day and Lacey had curled her hair and kept asking if she looked ok as it was a huge change for her. Steve kept telling her she looked “fine” while constantly telling Sophie how beautiful she looked 😞

Can’t believe they went for a day out, in the middle of December and not one parent made sure Chloe had a coat. Absolutely irresponsible. Should have had gloves as well. They were spending the day outdoors, of course it was going to be cold at this time of year! Think they forget she’s much younger than the older 3 and isn’t as self sufficient. Even if she said she didn’t want a coat, they should have taken it with them in the car anyway. 🤯

steve doesnt care about any of his kids ending up ill as he will just go to val and bill s and give it to them just doesnt think also wonder which kids ends up with a new phone for xmas or liam end up with new ps5 console when none of them need it or deserve it plus all he did is whine about how long it took to wait for santa always wants to rush around when he goes out just so he can go back and sit on his lazy backside doing nothing or clean the more you overclean the more it wont get rid of dirt especially when u use same cloth inside your toilet that you use on everything else plus fed up of him having a go about kids thrashing room after he has cleaned ffs they are kids of cause they will make a mess when playing teach your kids manners and respect plus teach sophie about not leaving it till last minute to catch a train and how to cross a rail crossing properly

Wow that brown dog of theirs is huge!
I bet nobody in that house bothers to walk either of them.
Maybe if Steve actually walked them he might feel better too but he won’t because he loves nothing more than to have an illness or ailment to vlog about
The amount of thumbnails he’s done of them being poorly is unbelievable

He’s so lazy. I want to see the Christmas Day vlog

Watching It so much rubbish. They need to get getting tat from b&m and get more decent things for kids. Rather than getting heaps of rubbish. The kids will never play with the toys. Liam is turning into a man voice so deep now lol
