I know it's none of my business really but I always wonder how they have so many expensive phones. They've sold new iPhones as well as other high end items like cameras. This is Rach's account. This phone was taken out of the box and used once.

I honestly don't understand how they can afford these kind of items either. Why would you buy a phone, use it once, then sell it? That's weird.

I wonder if they get them from a catalogue and then sell them for quick cash and pay the monthly payments? They seem to always be buying stuff so easily, like extravagant gifts for Father’s Day etc. I bet the catalogue repayments are dangerously high!!

That’s very interesting!! I can’t afford a Mac book. They got that 2 iPads and a phone for the kids at Christmas. And only one person working it’s madness
And the PS5 just as it launched + games too that are about £50 each! I know they didn't go on holiday in 2020 but someone on here said a few months ago that their Haven caravan thing for a week was £1000. That would barely even pay for one present. All of the other gifts too on top of that must've costed an absolute fortune. So lets see what the kids get this year on a year where they did go on holiday. Surely they're all gadgetted out. What more could they possibly need? I'm predicting iPhones for the twins, not that Lacey needs one.

In September they also sold a Nintendo Switch that they said was only bought at the beginning of the year. And for his last birthday Rachael bought Steve an iPhone 12. I really don't know how they do it. My husband has a decent job, works away for weeks at a time, and we couldn't spend what they do, even if we wanted to.

I do wonder how they afforded all that last Christmas. They usually do have big piles of presents and a main present. But the iPads Sophie and Chloe got are just over £300, the ps5 Liam got is around £360, but Lacey’s MacBook is £999 - often can be found for £899ish at other retailers rather than direct from Apple. I wonder why such a huge price difference. Must have been very expensive last year because even after the tech stuff, there was everything else. I only have 1 child, so not sure if the done thing is same quantity of presents regardless of cost or same total cost spent. Wonder if they got the MacBook on finance? Interested to see what they’re all getting this year! I see Lacey wants an iPhone.

Couldn’t believe Chloe sitting playing on her iPad whilst refusing to eat her dinner. Should have taken the iPad off her. The reason they’re all picky eaters these days is because they get away with it. A 6 year old gets to refuse to eat dinner and gets to sit and play on her iPad instead 🤯

Interesting about the phone they sold on eBay. I wonder if they’re taking out additional contracts and then selling the phone to get a lump sum of cash.

Someone mentioned previously about calling Chloe Tit/tithead, completely agree that it’s an awful nickname. Makes me cringe whenever he says it, even more so when Lacey says it. I’m pretty sure ages ago Val said something about not calling her that as well.

Yes!! Totally forgot about the ps5

Boy at my work gets paid £1300. Wife doesn’t work, have 2 kids. And they get £980 a month for universal credits to pay rent and bills. I wonder how much money they get

Liam also got a gaming chair last year. We got the same one and that's £180.

They have 4 and Chloe was born before the 2 child cut off date. They'll get DLA or PIP for Lacey. Steve will probably claim Carer's allowance for her. And I think they'll get extra UC because of Lacey too. Wouldn't surprise me if Steve claims something for his anxiety.
Steve has also borrowed Bill's car many times in the past, and not just to run errands for Bill, which I think is allowed, but for himself when his own car has been broken down. I'll bet a penny to a pound that Bill's car is a mobility one as he changes it every 3 years exactly, and his breathing isn't good a lot of the time as he has COPD. And I'm not saying anything against it if it is through mobility, but Steve shouldn't be running it if it's not specifically on Bill's behalf.

Sorry, seem to have a bit of a bee in my bonnet today!

I noticed a comment on the last vlog asking how home schooling works and Steve responded with;

"Yes, you have checks and have to show their work" - that's not true at all. There is no legal requirement to show any work and I suspect he's only saying that to make it look like the work he's giving Lacey is being checked and it's fine. You get asked for an annual report of what you've done that year and what you expect your plan to be for the coming year. That's the only "checks" that are done (and realistically you could write anything as you don't send work examples). I've been home educating my son for 5 years and not a single person of authority has asked for any examples of work! Don't get me wrong, some Local Authorities might ask, but there is no legal obligation to meet with them or show them anything. Plus, hasn't he only been doing this less than a year? In which case he'll have had nothing since deregistering her.

The poster above that said about the mobility car, you're completely right. Steve has no right to use the mobility vehicle to take his kids to school etc. He's allowed to drive it without Bill being there if he's getting his shopping, medication etc but it has to be for the benefit of the disabled person. Steve borrowing the car for a week to get his kids to school is completely against the rules. I have a mobility car for my son and I have second driver insured on it, but its the person that provides respite for me and only ever uses the car with my son. I would not be able to give him the car to do as he pleases!

Funny you should say this as years ago when they were in their old house and they had this little Peugeot car that they sold on eBay (I’m that sad I searched eBay for it) and they were always selling phones then too and my understanding is taking out contracts to get the phones then selling the phones on and taking the money then paying the monthly contracts for 2 years or whatever they take them out for. It really doesn’t make sense does it but I guess £40/£50 a month contract is nothing the first month when they’ve sold a phone for £800 odd and thats in their pocket within days.

I'm that sad that I know they've had about 3 different ebay accounts over the years 🤦‍♀️

I’m sure there was an occasion when they sold a brand new iphone on eBay and the person receiving it swapped it out for a broken one and claimed that’s what they had been sent and eBay refunded the buyer. Something like that, and Steve lost all the money and he was adamant he never going to sell on there again.. guess he changed his mind

Yes, that was about a couple of years ago I think. I did feel sorry for him for that. It's a crap thing to happen to anyone.

I don't know where Steve and Rachel are getting their home school resources from but drawing a picture of a dog isn't an Art lesson and reading a few pages of a book isn't an English lesson.

Most children draw in their spare time and read before bed.

The reason why Lacey is getting most of her Maths work right is because it is to easy, she needs to move on.

I cant believe how much they are limiting Lacey. What about Geography, History, Science, R.E, P.E, Drama, Languages? Ect.

She seriously needs to go back to school, its actually ridicules. Steve and Rachel clearly don't know what they are doing.

If she doesn’t start to go to a special education school by christmas then you would think the authorities would see something isn’t right.

I thought the same. If she wasn't on her laptop most of her spare time she might read or draw instead. She wasn't even having to read a whole chapter for her schoolwork. And he let her start work late the following day because he said she'd done so well. If I were Liam or Sophie watching the vlogs I think I'd feel pretty cheesed off with how little Lacey is actually having to do when they're at school.

The only academic work she is doing is addition, subtraction and times tables.

The other children are at school and she is at home playing on her laptop!
