That was really sad to read, as much as Stacey is a dick it is really heartbreaking losing a family pet. They will all be devastated. She seemed like such a lovely natured little dog.

Edited to add: Did Theo pass last night? I ask because on the photo she says 'on boxing day' but then she says 'last night' - so I'm confused.
