I do feel sorry for her I really do we lost our 17 year old darling Molly not lone ago
what has irked me a bit is the photos she’s shown is mainly Rex and Theo and only one with Z and L and she was 11 so surly there must be many many photos of Theo with the annex lads do t know why just annoyed me

prob not taking as many photos back then as she wasn’t an insta star

I've just remembered why I stopped coming on this thread, her sheep that are on here. Skanky is awful, she has used Theo's death to get likes and attentions, she'll appear in the papers now. She doesn't care about animals, she bought her last dog and pretended it was a rescue, Theo was pushed out of the picture once she got Peanut. She left her old cat when she moved. To be honest she doesn't even care about her two oldest, she shoved them into the annexe, that's a million miles away from the main house.

If you’re crying about someone you’ve never mets dog who died of old age you need to take a look at yourself. I may cry when I read awful or traumatic stories of people have died not a celeb dogs ffs

Empathy is a fine thing.
Nothing wrong with finding something incredibly sad, sad.
You cry at humans that you don't know dying, most probably old too.
People would have only asked her where Theo is, was she supposed to just ignore it all forever?

I do feel sorry for them losing the dog but I'm typical skanky fashion she has to go totally ott with the music and photos.

Some of the comments on her post are crazy. It's like they're trying to out do each other. Probably desperately hoping Stacey will acknowledge them.

Sad and all that. Not sure why you would post a pic of your dog with your crying face. Wouldn’t you crop your crying face out and show the dog if that’s what you wanted to do. I’ve had some very sad situations in my life and I don’t have any pics of myself upset - why would you post that.

I’m not ashamed to say I shed a tear for Theo. Definitely didn’t need the dramatic montage or pic of the deceased dog with Stacey crying over her. I’ve lost several pets over the years including a much loved Yorkie who I grew up with and I can’t say my first thought has ever been to ask someone to take a pic of me crying over my deceased pet for the gram. It’s definitely going to be milked and milked and milked however my heart feels a sadness for the two older boys more than anyone who have grown up with Theo and this will be one of their first losses I imagine at their age. I have to say I never even doubted that Stacey had adopted Peanut even though at the time something didn’t sit right… the way they saw the adoption post and managed to be the ones to get him when I imagine a small puppy like that would have had lots of people offering to take him… hmmm

I just think there is a difference in feeling sad for someone’s else’s dog dying and actually crying over it. I just cant understand it myself. And yes i have pets.

I didn’t cry but I do feel upset for them, everybody has different trigger points which upset them. We’re humans and we feel pain and express it very differently.
I don’t like Stacey, I used to and I don’t like being referred to as a sheep because I have some empathy towards a family who are grieving a much loved pet. This thread is brutal sometimes, there’s nothing wrong with balance

I’m not crying - or even sad - over a random person’s random dog but I can appreciate it’s sad for the person who has lost their dog. It doesn’t mean it like or even care about the person. I can relate to the human emotion even if I disagree with how she goes about it.

Totally agree with this, she could have just announced we lost Theo sadly, but no milking it for all she can get, who took the picture of her crying with theo in her arms ? So staged, some moments should be private but not in the swalomon world

I have to say I thought exactly the same thing. I dunno, once again to me it’s Stacey sharing stuff that I would consider personal to me, not to be shared with, well in her case millions of people she doesn’t know.

Don’t get me wrong I feel for the woman I really do, my pets are as big a part of my family as anyone else is and I’ve also lost pets so totally appreciate how utterly gut-wrenchingly sad and devastating it is, however I’ve never felt the need to have photos taken of me with my pet whilst I’m upset or then share my grief with people who didn’t even know what I’d lost.

This is the bit I struggle with tbh, undoubtedly she loved Theo and it’s awful but why does she have to make it a social media event? I know since she lives her life so obviously online that she would need to mention it, even if just to save people asking about Theo and upsetting her all over again, but just a brief post explaining might feel a little more genuine. Then again who am I to say how she wishes to grieve for her dog, it’s just so different to what I would do I guess so I find it hard to comprehend.

I can’t say I cried my eyes out at little Theo passing but I don’t think it’s wrong other people did !
I cry at stuff I cry at a lot of stuff I just got weepy watching planes trains and automobiles and I really don’t care as that’s the person I am

It’s not odd to me if someone gets teary over a dog passing away. What’s odd to me is posting a photo of yourself crying and holding a dying animal perfect example of the world gone mad with over-sharing. Nothing is private or respectful to some people, where is the line going to be drawn? Very sad to loose a pet, of course she shared the news because her fans are invested in her life, just not that photo hun. Also when I saw the first image of a blanket and the text about some bad news my heart was in my mouth. Bit much isn’t it to begin like that but we all have different taste I guess. I’d be sad if my cat died but I wouldn’t post a hundred photos including of him slipping away with sad music (assuming on that to be fair- can’t have the sound on because the bad cover versions do me in). Mind you I wouldn’t leave him to it if I moved house either (and yes I know people will say that a cat is not the same as a dog but you know what I mean)
