I can understand why she wouldn’t think to fix her ring because she never goes out anywhere so it’s not like she’s meeting friends/going to work etc where people would always ask her about the ring. But I agree it’s weird and lazy

as for not having anything planned, I think it doesn’t make much sense to get engaged and then not be bothered about the wedding? Surely if you care enough to get engaged you would care enough to start planning stuff.

Personally I’d like less time engaged rather than stretching it out, like if she’s anxious or whatever surely her and Alex would just go get married in secret than get engaged and have it go on and on, if anything that builds up more pressure on the actual day?
 
I like Sophie but I just find myself rolling my eyes through all her videos now. She'll make a video about literally anything and shove in a Hello Fresh ad whether it's relevant or not. She doesn't even try and segway to the ad section anymore, she just laughs it off.

Annoyingly, the only bit of her most recent video that was cooking-related was the emoji frying pan she bought, so she could have tried to link the Hello Fresh ad to that. But no, she bought a packet of pancake mix that required only milk, panicked that they might not have any milk in, then got Alex to make them anyway. Tell us again how Hello Fresh has really made cooking so much easier for you? 🤔

She couldn't even open a box of chocolates without spilling them all over the floor, then struggled to pronounce basic words like "ganache." I even found myself being surprised that she was able to change a lightbulb by herself, I was half expecting Alex's hand to appear.

Sorry for the rant - I just can't believe this is how someone earns a living 😅
 
I can’t stand her now. All of her content promotes mindless consumerism. God knows what she does with all this tat after she’s made the videos. (I know this can be said for many creators.)

She’s too much of a try hard with her “hehe I’m so silly and quirky” persona. Putting on this ditsy dumb act when she’s almost 29, it’s not cute. She was desperate to be a Twitch E-girl gamer so she changed her entire look, sunk money into a set-up and most recently didn’t stream for 2 months. 🙃

I think she’s a perfect example of what happens when you can make passive income from your content and instead of having a passion for it, you give up. She’s completely lost interest and she’ll only make a video to include an ad when she wants some quick money. Also I thought the ad had to be disclosed in the title or thumbnail, has that changed now?

She usually gives away anything she's used in her videos but doesn't want in her live streams, like that air wrap thing that she didn't like.
 
I feel bad because she does seem like a lovely person but I had to stop watching her videos with all the dropping things and forgetting words ect in every single video.
She does none of that when she streams. Or not to the extent of her videos at least.

Makes me wonder whether she's like it in real life.
Same as she says Alex is how he is because he doesn't like being on camera. He just seems so miserable
 
Out of curiosity I went back to the earliest video she has public to see if she’s always been this dense/ditsy. Seems she has and I must have been a lot more forgiving of it back in the day 😂 Maybe because back then it did come across as innocent and sweet since she was only 19/20 but she’s now going on 30 and acting the exact same way.
