I know Jordan has said the breakfast was his dream, but he was talking about radio 1. Maybe it wasn’t happening at radio 1 any time soon, so he’s jumped when offered it on capital. Not sure, just speculating! I love him. No idea how Jamie Laing has managed to get the drive time show with no radio experience (that I know of?!) I tune in after work just for Jordan, but definitely won’t for Jamie!

Jamie has a substantial and well-established fan base, and is arguably a household name, which is the big selling point. BBC getting him on board is more about propping up listening figures than anything, as opposed to his actual skills and experience. Tbf, I'd never heard of Jordan North until yesterday. The Beeb is brutal when it comes to wielding the axe. I know a few people who worked there for years, who were either given the chop or could never get promoted or any other job in the BBC, despite how hardworking and talented they were. It's like they want to keep people in their box and don't encourage progression within the organisation. My friend had dozens of internal job interviews there but never had any luck, then ended up leaving out of frustration.

Jamie has a substantial trust fund to live off from his father, he mentioned having to deal with his father's accountant when he went over his allowance (as an adult) complaining about how strict and intimidating this fellow his father had employed was 🤭

He also has managed (with his partner, the team this guy put together and most likely a parental injection of cash) to make his sweeties a big success and they're branching out into other products now, such as cereal. I have tried them when superdrug sent out free samples a day when I saw they were vegan I was excited to try them. I only had the strawberry (meh) and the fizzy watermelon which I really liked (dammit!)

Finally let us not forget he will also inherit a lot, but will have to split that with siblings, step siblings and half siblings (there are a lot of them, but then there is a lot of money to divide up)

My impression was he is a reality TV veteran (absolutely could never have gotten work as a real actor) an influencer, and working hard to be a regular TV personality because he needs the adoration - not the money.
He often misses the joke, mispronounces words or fails to understand what is being said, which considering both his extensive education at a top school, and that what he is doing is working in light entertainment, is highly embarrassing.

He's clingy, whiney and needy. Constantly asking Sophie to state that she loves him, that he is the best lover 🤮 the most fashionable dresser etc, wanting to know he is the favourite child from his parents, for them to confirm over and over again just how proud they are of him. Demanding to know that it is he and no other who is the persons best friend, that they would choose Jamie over all others, even their wives. This is all done in a jokey, haha! way to get away with how intrusive and manipulative it is, but he isn't joking.

Fame is getting that same hit of attention and adoration from others, rich or not he must be so draining to be around. His needs not only come first but no one else is allowed to have any attention, it is all his attention!

Also, his head looks different? Can't put my finger on it
Rounder? Maybe he has had sculptural? Profhilo?

Sophie looks further stretched and vacant. Hope she is getting what she needs out of this arrangement marriage.

I agree , sophie is stunning but is looking more gaunt and unhealthy day by day . I enjoy the podcast when they have others on but find it so dry when jamie heaves with laughter every monday at his own miscalucated jokes . Its tragic really

I didn't really mind Jamie until I listened to his podcast, and at first I enjoyed it...but I think I've seen the real Jamie and I haven't liked what has been revealed.

Didn't mind Sophie when she first arrived on scene, yet that lasted a split second. Hypocrite angry at people for doing exactly what she did to them or others. Frankie, Eloise (the Jamie diaries), screwed Sam over, (not defending Sam btw), issues with Emily regarding Harvey (although he's no prize). Not A Louise Thompson fan but she did call it, when telling Habbs she's nothing but a social climbing shi^.

Did you see Roman Kemp posted a picture with Jordan North yesterday? I reckon the rumours are true.

I used to love Jamie and Spencer's podcast but something has changed since the wedding. Feels like there is an undercurrent of something and they don't really like each other that much anymore. My take is Spencer fell off the wagon at that coke fest of a wedding and cheated and Vogue blames Jamie for testing his sobriety. And Spencer doesn't like Sophie

Me too! I like him when he is on shows as he brings a warmth and interest to them, with a good sense of humor. I liked him on bake off and the pottery showdown, he is a good panelist but daily on Radio 1- it's a no from me!!!

A daily live show on Radio is much harder than a 30min panelist laugh along section with ad breaks. Good DJs make it sound easy, I will be surprised if he is still there in 6 months!
 
It’s hard ( although I do believe she was up to something before that wedding which caused her to become a coke fiend and need rehab) but all the while, hard to believe she has the ability to cheat when she can’t even tax a car . It seems like she can do nothing for herself. Did Harvey have to arrange her transport ?! Did she leave the house out of the tracksuit and million face masks ? Did she show any interest expression WHAT SO EVER whilst Harv laid the smack down ?

From the beginning, I’ve speculated that she blames the addiction for cheating. A lot of cheats with some sort addiction do as a way to deflect blame and to keep their partners there

I reckon he did cheat but with a bridesmaid, which was the other rumour. Lottie went public and said they didn't cheat, and laughed off the ridiculousness of the suggestion. I don't think someone would do something so bold and forward if they had cheated. However, it's interesting that Spencer has stayed completely quiet on the cheating rumour (albeit with the bridesmaid). You'd think he'd immediately refute it if it wasn't true.

Obv I don't know Lottie, but seeing her on Celebs Go Dating massively changed my view of her. She was very scarred by her dating past and several exes who cheated on her, and lost her nut when she realised Adam was trying to get with his ex while he was dating her. She seems like a genuinely decent girl. I can't see her wanting to inflict that same pain (cheating) on another woman.

wouldn’t surprise me if Spencer cheated, I can’t stand Vogue tbh she is a social climber and really hit the lottery with Spencer. Spencer and Jamie I think are both nice on an ad-hoc kind of basis, like you could meet up with them probably have a good time sort of thing, their partners must know what they’ve signed up for💰💰 so will turn a blind eye to any extra curricula activities they may partake in.
Didn’t Sophie cheat on Sam with Jamie? I could believe cheating rumours, the Coke thing has surprised me but that’s because I’m naive to that kind of stuff but really makes me laugh girls who think they are classy sniffing coke 🤣 she is putting too much filler in her face too it’s a shame as she was beautiful (to look at, at least!)
