Um she says that the stories aren't from today but isn't this a cannula marking on her wrist ?

It certainly is! Just went back through her stories.. so she's definitely out of hospital and doing a try on. God she is such a liar. How does she sleep at night.

Medical Professional here: IVF does indeed mean Intra-venous fluids. So whilst in hospital for what the treating Dr has described as Hyperemesis she had fluids through a cannula.
Depends on the discharge paperwork if they also write meds in that section. She has also hidden investigations where they may have written Blood tests or Mental Health referral.

Do not want to downplay her either way - but I have seen some ED Drs especially in Private write 'Hyperemesis' even when it's just a random spout of severe nausea and vomiting. Its 'increased vomiting'.
Does not alway mean a confirmed diagnosis as unfortunately 1 hospitalisation doesnt equal HG.

Whats the process for receiving a HG diagnosis? Is it something that can be tested or is it based on medical professionals opinion of symptoms?
