My only contribution to this name chit chat before I move back to snarking on Ms Trunchbull Shaw Cachia, is that Mr Phonies is an identity whiz and he said that when you get married or divorced you can continue to be known by your maiden name, your married name or both, and can use them interchangeably. So she is still Sophie Shaw and Sophie Cachia, and can use either as she so chooses (however irritating the reason and the story behind it - and she’s so irritating!).

I can actually see her being coy about the baby’s last name. The announcement will probably not have any last name to keep everyone guessing (like we actually care lol). It might just be ‘hello world, this is Connie Sophie Florence Zoe Gayle Dulcie, named after all the women who came before her in her family including me. I birthed this big, beautiful girl amongst the most beautiful feminine energy surrounding me, I have such amazing women to walk with me in this life and I truly do not feel alone even though I am having my third baby solo. What a journey for myself! I’ve always wanted to bring up a daughter with solely female influences and this birth has also birthed my authentic lesbian aura. FWIW married 25 years this year and I’ve never fully committed to my married name I’m maiden at work hyphenated on official docs couldn’t fully commit to a name change at the start . And I use my married name for all kid related stuff. I honestly wish I’d pushed a bit harder on hubby using my name
