Someone asked him on Instagram about this and he said he is still on furlough :cautious:

To be fair to him, i think it all depends on the company and when they plan on reopening fully. I'm only just back off furlough, being off since the end of March, but only part time. My husband isn't back until next week as he works in a hotel which can't legally open until Saturday so i think it's a little unfair to use snide emojis when talking about furlough.

Dave never actually said what is job is, other than a 'night time customer service role' which I suspect would be more like a night porter in a hotel, or i'm sure its been mentioned on here before, in a student accommodation, which would explain why he's not yet back. Lots of people seem to think he worked in a call centre, but they would have stayed open/worked from home, as most companies that have call centres that i can think of would have stayed open (banks, insurance companies, phone/internet providers etc)

No one wants to be furloughed (well i didn't, Dave probably did) as its really worrying as to whether i would have a job to go back to. At the moment i am back but only 3 days a week, so get 80% for my 2 additional days off (which isn't that bad really)

Dave's repeated dodging of the question of when he is going back to work just fuels speculation.

As an aside, I am really nosy and I hate when influencers won't share what their jobs are. It gives off a high and mighty vibe. You'll film a private moment like a midwife appointment, or doing a pregnancy test, but you won't tell us what you do for a living.

No i completely agree with that - but getting fed up with all the digs at him being furloughed as they kinda feel aimed at everyone who has been furloguhed.
 
My partner got made furlough 3 weeks ago, just after they brought the previously furloughed people back. They seemed to be spreading it out so everyone gets a 'turn'. But I think it's in the hope nobody will have to lose a job, even the big bosses took a pay cut.

Anyway what video treat do you think we will get tonight?? Painting the wardrobe? Making the bed? Giving a table a wipe?

Snap! Kind of lol. I’m 31 weeks pregnant and still furloughed. Work have pretty much told me that I’ll be furloughed until I start maternity leave. I’m a development scientist for a medical device company so just shows that all types of companies are struggling at the moment. We all know Dave is a lazy so and so but he can’t help been furloughed from work 🤷🏼‍♀️. I mean let’s not pretend he won’t be gutted when he has to go back obviously lol but I don’t think they could afford for neither of them to have a “proper job”

Yup. I’ve also used this time “off” to volunteer to work for my company in a different capacity So I can help them stay afloat as much as possible and undertake development and training - all of which is allowed under the scheme. All whilst growing a human - something which S and D seem to think she is the only person to have done 😂

Watching Dave for 9 minutes pretend to remove a part of the wardrobe from the garage while Sophie giggles. They’ll turn off the camera at a certain point so Nan, Wilf and Mummybelle can finish the rest. The last minute will be filled with “Love you so much,” of some kind or other.

It’s about £700 for some bungalows in that area on rightmove! I was feeling nosey lol. I might move, it’s way cheaper than London!

You'd think so but these two will do the bare minimum and have family dealing with the poop and puke. They'll use baby for the vlog and then interact with him as little as possible.

I'd love for them to prove me wrong but from what I've seen and know of them I doubt they will.
