I think they should’ve moved to London or a nearby commuter town. Barney hadn’t even started school when Dave first got the job and there’s nothing tying Sophie to wherever she lives now. It would’ve made sense financially and would make Soph’s life easier as she would get parenting support from Dave in small doses through the week rather than just on a Sunday.

i also think Sophie should’ve capitalised on social media and the YouTube channel. They had plenty subscribers and if she could be bothered to post regularly, even just a weekly vlog, she could’ve sustained that audience and gotten more brand deals which can pay really well. They also had loads of patreons willing to give them money for a few extra videos a month but they couldn’t be bothered and scammed everyone instead and eventually lost the followers.

I understand having small kids is hard and Barnie has some additional needs, but social media is about as flexible a job as you can get and loads of people with families and busy lives make it work. It’s frustrating watching her waste the opportunity.

i used to really like their vlogs and I paid for their Patreon but obviously left when they didn’t fulfil their side of the contract

This is really interesting, could I ask (and I’m not trying to be hostile with this at all just really interested), what made you sign up in the first place and when did you realise that yet again they were failing in their commitments?

It just would be great to know so that we can all try and stop others wasting their money. I can understand if you don’t want to share though.

That’s true but on Rigs and in the Army you’ve not gotta pay for accommodation

ETA: I don’t mind that he actually has a decent job, good on him, and by all accounts he’s pretty good at it. But, their living situation should have been sorted first

Honestly I just love WDW content and they said their content would include a monthly podcast. I like listening to podcasts and love Disney chat so thought I’d join. I’m also super grateful that YouTube is free and we get free access to loads of content so I’m quite happy to pay something small to creators I like.

Having said that, there is loads of free content from Disney creators out there so I’m not going to pay unless I’m actually getting something worthwhile.

It became clear very quickly that they weren’t providing what they’d promised. I sent a few messages/left comments about it which were all ignored so I left. This was probably a year ago now. I hope there’s nobody still paying as they took the absolute piss. They must’ve posted about 10% of what they advertised. Very dishonest and morally wrong to charge people for a product and not provide it

I am honestly shocked they still have MUGS who pay them monthly for literally, NO CONTENT WHATSOEVER!!!!! - you’re absolutely right, that video they did listing alllllll the things they’d be up to on Patreon…. Couldn’tttt be further from the truth 😅😅😅😅

It’s just like Sophie’s website of her making Disney stuff etc, that was meant to be her “dream” ☠️ quickly failed…… - then the Podcast happened to be both their dreams……. And what upsets me is I can’t say that failed, because like I say… PEOPLE ARE STILL PAYING THEM. For literally not doing a damn thing 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Thank you so much. I suspect most of the draw is Disney. I'm so glad you were aware enough that you left and I feel so sorry for you wasting even a penny one them. It infuriates me that Patreon will do absolutely nothing. I have tried twice to report them to Patreon but they just say contact the creator. The fact they just ignore people that PAY them is disgusting!!

I suggest everyone when and if they post again they ask why there has been NOTHING on Patreon for 9 weeks. Over 2 months IF anyone is still paying they are just taking £8 for doing absolutely nothing!!

THEY NEED TO SHUT IT DOWN to stop anyone stumbling on the Patreon and paying for something that is just a scam.
 
Just remembered I screenshot these from Daves insta stories to post here......WTF is he thinking? Does he think he looks great here.........because he's very wrong indeed! He looks like a knob, he can't ever pose nicely for a picture, even with the 'fam'

Good for him, strange he looses weight when the feeder is far away :unsure: . I did think he looked slimmer in those posts above.

Given we are a few days from winter I wonder when we are getting the promised autumn vlog that she was so looking forward to doing?
