Honestly if my husband turned round and said he wanted gym equipment for his birthday totalling that amount when we had a baby arriving imminently and a house that needed a million things done to it, I’d certainly have something to say about it. I’ve unfollowed both of them because it’s frustrating how lazy and entitled they both are.
Sophie and Dave #6 Dave finally has his garage gym, won't ever use it as he caters to Sophie's every whim.

I've only really caught up with the vlogs.
It doesn't surprise me that the home gym is no more... That lasted all of ten seconds.
I find it a little odd that Sophie couldn't wait to chuck the IKEA spatula because it didn't fit in yet is happy to keep the sofas when they don't match her decor. It wouldn't surprise me if a new sofa appears soon.

What makes you say the home gym is no more?
He just mentioned that he is getting gym equipment for his bday.
He will probably put a lock on the inside so he can hide in there and leave Sophie with the baby. And plenty of pictures of muscle men on the wall for 'inspo'

Sorry yes I've just realised what I've wrote.
I meant in the vlog Sophie is laughing about there being no home gym because they've put a load of stuff in the garage. That's what I was talking about. I completely forgot he had asked for gym gear for his birthday.

I still can’t believe Dave made his protein cupboard his top priority.
Don’t get me wrong I’m on a weightloss journey & use protein powder. But I’m also doing loads of cardio & some weight training right now.
He needs to work on his cardio if he wants to lose weight.
I know a lot of people that compete in different strong men competitions & they still do cardio as it’s not healthy to just be on the gains train. You still need to lose some of that fat so it’s leaner muscle

Cardio builds stamina as well that you need to sustain long workout with weights etc.
They have a dog who need long walks and soon a baby who will love being outdoors. Plenty of need for him to get up and go. But until he sorts his eating out he won't lose anything.

I just saw on Twitter that Mary Poppins, Phantom, Les Mis etc will not return before 2021 and that some cast members may likely face redundancies when they do return. I think now is the time for Dave to give the acting dream a break for a few years and focus on a steady job for his baby. He is not one of the best of the theatre industry and it looks like the best of the best will be competing for what does come back next year.

The producer has started a process of consultation over potential redundancies for all employees on these productions

This might sound insane but maybe he’s scared of loose skin. So in some bizarre way he thinks gainz will replace any fat loss, therefore filling the extra void.
It sounds absolutely ridiculous and not how that works at all, but this is Sophie and Dave we are talking about. The same man who said, “Oh, really?” in a very surprised tone when Sophie suggested Barney could easily soil 8 nappies a day.
Edit: Also, is it just me or is it merely a coincidence Sophie re-posted her “moderator” receiving a Chip pin? It’s been suggested recently on here no one seems to be removing comments on their vlogs.
I bet their moderator had to pay for that pin too.

So Dave is using Barney’s nighttime bath wash to shower (the one Jade and Matt gifted them recently).

When she said “ a Moses basket can go here”.. isn’t that the space for a fridge/freezer? There’s even plugs there.
Unless they get an under counter one but it won’t have freezer space like a fridge freezer. I make a lot of purées for my son and freeze them so wouldn’t live without mine

Also was thinking re they make no sense as a couple, Dave has been her only boyfriend (can't remember if he has had partners but know he is older) so that's probably why they are still together... She has no idea how to break up with him.

Can I just say in defense of these loons - well, Dave at least - he has kept up the social media presence of talking about black lives matter and protests and all sorts of VERY important and interesting conversation-far longer than many others I follow have. I'll absolutely give him that.

Any normal person would have put it aside until the baby arrived, then sent a picture of the baby having their first bath and thanking them a second time.
I think they are perfectly matched.
Sophie is comfortable with Dave as he doesn't challenge her to do anything more with her life than sit around all day drinking cups of tea. She probably feels like he is punching and she will revel in this, knowing that she can always call the shots because he is terrified of losing her.
Meanwhile, Dave also feels he is punching so will do anything to keep Princess Owl Eyes sweet, also he is happy to have a wife who will indulge his desire to act and not push him to get a 'real' job.

So I started watching today..but couldn't make it beyond the intro credits.
How this pair plead poverty, then move into a new house (jobless), spend a load of tit on new stuff, talk about job situations they got themselves into, pretend protein shakes are some key to unlocking a hench, undiscovered side to Dave, take 4 days to put together a set of basic drawers, think acting is a career choice at 35....I could go on.

That gym equipment won't last the year.
It will be sold off for the following reasons:
1. That fat fucker is incapable of losing weight no matter what gym toys he has.
2. The purchasing of items to that pair is more important than the item itself and the novelty soon wears off.
3. Their current pot of money won't last forever. The income from YouTube isn't massive and there's only so many times you can rip off your viewers (even ones as gullible as they have) by selling cheap pins, keyrings, Barney's hair etc.
