I’m just watching the latest ep. Absolutely heartbreaking. Poor Gabriel he is far more mature and articulate than his father. My heart just broke you could see in his face all he wanted was his dad to come give him a hug and he got nothing just a I’m going..

if Janelle doesn’t leave him after seeing that then I just don’t know

Sooo I’m new to this thread and the whole sister wives thing!!
I’m only a couple of episodes in in the third season but woahhh
The thing that stood out the most for me so far.. why the hell did Robyn’s kids start calling kody ‘dad’ almost straight away.. that was so weird for me
Is that answered later on in the seasons?
(I’ve got alooooot of binge watching todo to catch up!)

I don't think they ever answered it, I found it strange as well.

Omg the wheels really came off with covid. Robyn is clearly still in 'keep sweet :pray and obey' mode. Kody doesn't like the fact that no one else follows his leadership anymore, so he focuses it on robyn and kids cos they all think hes gods gift. The older kids in the family have mind's of their own and can see his bullshit, and i think janelle and Christine look at the lives their kids have and see that there are better ways of living. The last ounce of liking anything about kody for me left when we saw his attitude towards ysabels operation.

He was awful, I think if it was one of Robyn’s kids, he’d have been at the operation.

Yeah I watched it, it's absolutely harrowing what those people went through. And worse knowing there are so many still in that cult.

I’ve got two more episodes to watch, but from what I’ve watched I can see why Meri hasn’t left and even Janelle. I could see Robyn being part of that, she does seem a lot stricter than the others.

It’s awful, the Dad marrying his daughter off to the Warren Jeffs Dad so he could move up in stature and get a third wife, not that it ended well for him. The 14 year olds forced to get married, it’s shocking that parents allowed that to happen and it shows how easy it is to brainwash a lot of people.

I don't know if you've watch the final episode, but it's quite hard going, I was so upset watching it. I can see why the Browns distance themselves from it, they are very different from the LDS Mormons.

Yes I've watched it all now, very distressing. So sad that people can be brainwashed like that. And as for Warren Jeffs...what a creepy, disgusting guy 😥 those poor children 😥

I saw Maddie put on her instagram stories that she was watching it as people had asked her if there were any similarities. I never saw her thoughts on it though. Did anyone else?
