The one I'm talking about was a repeatshoplifter, but of small amounts of 200 lush bath bombs. A crime yes shoplifiting, but not jail time.
Quite. And people are calling stealing £200 of lush bath bombs "serious crime" and justifying going to jail for that. We’ve got video evidence of the thugs beating up police at Manchester Airport and those two haven’t even been charged yet.
You've made that up. No one said serious crime shouldn't be punished. It comes to something when people are arguing that serious crime shouldn’t be punished as it costs too much money.
I think that that is an issue in Politics across the board. No one in the Labour cabinet has ever started or run a business. They've all been on the public purse for their lives.
It's 6th form politics from a load of career politicians and union reps who've never had to worry about losses as someone else's money can plug any gaps.
I see someone's amplifying Farage's social media posts. We’ve got video evidence of the thugs beating up police at Manchester Airport and those two haven’t even been charged yet.
What makes me laugh is all of the SpAds running around the senior politicians, treating them like Gods and “advising” them when they’re straight out of university or a cosetted job in the civil service.I've always thought you shouldn't be able to run for being an MP (can't think of the proper term right now!) unless and until you have worked in 'normal' jobs for several years. Just shooting out of uni and into politics makes for dreadfully blinkered views.
I'm sure Farage knows full well the legal process involved but just loves doing his usual inciting.
True is a problem with politics in general and full of career politicians, but I think this labour cabinet is too the extreme without anyone of experience in business.I think that that is an issue in Politics across the board.
As someone who has run both a Sole Trader business and a Ltd Company with employees I've always maintained that 500 small business owners would sort out the NHS within a year.
You become so used to finding and eliminating every unnecessary purchase and making sure everything adds value.

Typical champagne socialist hypocrites.
I've worked in the public sector, and the whole sector in general could do with a business minded approach. The lack of logic and money wastage is astronomical.
She got caught out lying this week about being a chess champion. I guess she thought it was obscure enough to lie about and didn't think there would be records to catch her outRachel Thieves had a job with the Bank of England. Sadly it didn’t do her much good because as an opposition MP she ended up having her parliamentary credit card suspended due to the amount of debt she was racking up.
She also expressed concern that her outgoings exceeded her income despite her and her husband earning £250k pa between them. What sort of lifestyle were a couple of civil servants living in Leeds having to be getting through that sort of cash? Typical champagne socialist hypocrites.
