I've always wondered the whole "going to breakfast" thing was Ned maybe in need of somewhere to stay for a day or two and asked her could he stay with her and the fam ?
It's the only explanation I could come up with for going to breakfast with your ONS family?
Maybe she was a real convenience in more than one way.

I wonder if someone in Shiv’s group knew Darragh or someone in the group Darragh was with and they’d all been socialising in the days running up to the Grand Prix? They’d all be around the same age and from Dublin so wouldn’t surprise me. So maybe she’d been getting to know him over a few days rather than a tinder swipe on the night.

She would definitely be posting them on her stories if she was!

I don't think she knows that many people in the fitness industry in Ireland. She did her bodybuilding comp then set up the furnace and went off travelling for 5 years before moving to London for a year.

No, in fact I would say he wasn't even told Roisin and James were there until they arrived into the restaurant. I'd say everyone was shocked in that group except Siobhan and her demented smile.

I’ve always been on the fence about this part. Probably a bit controversial as it seems like this is a big deal for a lot of people on here.

My family are pretty liberal and I’ve had a “holiday romance” before and the person had been introduced to me whilst having drinks with my family. My family liked him and he ended up coming with us most nights to dinner/drinks. He was on holiday with family too. We had a great holiday, did try to see each other when we got back but we both had hectic schedules and it didn’t work out. We are still friends now, my family, especially my Mum loved him, still does, still asks how he is. No judgement. Similarly he still ask how my family are, calls sometimes when I’m with them so he can say hello!

Different families have different dynamics, I would think nothing of my sister turning up to breakfast with me with a guy she had met from the night before, same with her with me. Especially if I had been on the night out and met the person. As long as he’s nice and has treated her well, I wouldn’t see the issue and wouldn’t judge her.

I don’t think she tricked him into meeting them, I think he’s probs gone thinking she’s a novelty at this point with all her money for G&Ts, followers and James Smith and Diren as friends, he continued seeing her after the holiday too. He follows them on instagram.

For me it’s what happened before that with the “living differently”, the sudden change in mind when Felicity was pregnant and she thought she could bag Diren, the potentially tricking Ned into a pregnancy, then what came after the holiday that’s the issue - countless lies, saying she’s respecting his privacy but then pretending something exists that doesn’t and not being honest about her situation to her followers who are the reason she can afford her rent a build in Pearse street in the first place.

I get what you’re saying, but I would imagine your family are the exception more so than the rule. They sound awesome though, and I’d say more people would like families that are more liberal, but particularly in Ireland I just don’t think it’s common, or even average. My family would drop dead of shame if I mentioned having a one night stand ten years ago over lunch, let alone bringing the guy from bed to breakfast 😂😂

But does anyone feel like it's an itch that can't be scratched. I need cold hard facts...everytime I open the thread I hope Ned has come on to spill the beans. I want it all from the horse's mouth...how did they meet? What happened in Abu Dhabi? When did he find out about the baby? About shiv moving home ..what's happening now? What do both families think...friends etc.

I.want.all.the.details.

Desperate plea for anyone lurking on this thread to come forward and I would be forever grateful!!!

It was more to point out that we don’t know she definitely snuck out or that the sister and brother in law hadn’t already met him whilst they’d been out the night before for drinks. Not all families would be horrified by it.

I’ve actually just realised we didn’t have sex on that holiday anyway, but my family didn’t know that. We stayed over in each others rooms so they probably assumed we did! 😂😂

But I get what you’re saying, we probably speak about more than most families and I can guarantee that as laid back as they may be, they certainly wouldn’t be delighted if I had a ONS and got pregnant, they’d support my decision 100% but they definitely wouldn’t love that situation. In fact my Dad would probably still hit the roof 😂
