I’d say this is killing her. She booked a last minute cheap break (as not paid for), which turned out to be cheap coz 1. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere 2. Sardinia’s weather is not overly reliable in October , and she has to pay for taxis out of her own money

Tbf, I’ll give her that. I was on holidays recently and my period arrived 10 days early. Now I’m a bit older than her, but it’s common at her age

Suck it up and pay the 35 euro to go get your tampax Sinead and maybe find something else to do in and around the town if you don't want to relax in the hotel and spend time together like a normal couple do.

I'm actually glad for Jacob that those two didn't take him with them because the poor child would either have been dragged around bars or left with a babysitter.

You can see how much he loves Mary. She interacts with him, gives him time and affection and I'm sure her two girls do too.
I'm sure with her girls being in school that's there's a routine in their house (bedtime etc) which will do Jacob the world of good.

I’ve said it before and I will keep saying it, there’s more love between my dog and his special cushion than there is between those two.
