I've been very interested in the discussion around Inzoi since its long gameplay trailer came out & some simmers were given early access to its pre-alpha.
I'm kinda surprised none of the big simmers have mentioned it, since most of them have made videos about it before (same with paralives and LBY). I wonder if they have been strong-armed by EA not to make videos about it, or if they're doing it of their own volition to stay in good favour. Personally if I was a simmer, bc there's no Sims 5 in sight, I'd definitely be thinking about shifting my focus to be a general life simmer rather than just a The Sims youtuber...

Isn't Inzoi the Korean one? I remember Kayla making a video on a trailer of it a while back. IIRC there wasn't many skintones/she mentioned not liking the realism. I wonder if they all saw that one trailer and just gave up on it then and there. All I know is there's been some drama with that game because they're partnering with Curseforge. So that might be another reason. Paralives is the only other one in development now I believe, since Life By You was cancelled.
I know this topic is a few days old already, but Kayla's sensory overload could be a symptom of numerous things. I'd bet more on it being because of her anxiety, but generally afaik anyone can get sensory overload. It's also possible she could have ADHD, but I'm not trying to diagnose her either lol

I don't know if there were more news since then but I always found Paralives too good to be true.
There's been lots of updates since.
i’m maybe a bit slow on this but deli has an editor. which is absolutely hilarious because aside from the botox situation (
) she still doesn’t post nearly enough content for what’s supposedly her main income/ full time job given the fact ALL SHE HAS TO DO IS SIT AND PLAY A bleeping GAME. what does she actually do with her time? i don’t understand? how is sitting at a desk playing a game that she apparently loves so exhausting for her? she doesn’t have kids she doesn’t have another job her dogs go to daycare and now i’ve just discovered she doesn’t even do the ‘hard’ part of her job. what is she doing all day everyday??? apart from scouring the internet for the most expensive black t shirt, expensive work out plans, expensive vegetable boxes that she doesn’t know what to do with and complaining about how expensive everything is. all while sitting on her arse playing a game and calling it ‘work’ girl needs a wake up call

I was interested until I saw the system/graphics card requirements, which are significantly higher than the Sims requires, I think my little laptop would explode if I tried.
Sims 4 requirements to play basegame plus a couple expansion packs are really, really low. Whatever else you have to say about the Sims 4 development team, they have consistently kept the demands on a players' PC incredibly friendly to a beginner with a potato laptop, or person who can't afford a gaming PC.
Inzoi looks fun if you're super into all the alpha character creation stuff (reddit is full of kids overjoyed to be able to make Taylor Swift and K-pop icons in it, bless their hearts), but...nah, buying a new gaming laptop in this economy is well out of my budget.

It’s hard to imagine how profitable YouTube is for Deli anymore. Her memberships and Disney sponsorships must be coming in clutch.
Remember when she and James both said they’d start livestreaming regularly? I’d ask what happened but iirc, neither was making enough from the streams to make it worth their while.
And while I don’t like giving a man credit for women’s work, I have to wonder how much influence James has over her channel decisions. Would she have kept up with membership stuff without him doing the same thing on his own channel?

Deli used to stream regularly but I think she stopped because she wasn’t getting the views she wanted. She was actually a better streamer though since she wasn't yelling and melodramatic, too.

I don't see Deli having kids, but if she did, I think it would be a hard reality slap for her, even with all the advantages she has. I don't mean this as an insult, but she is too self-involved for that kind of commitment and greatly enjoys not having to do anything she doesn't want to.
She sends her dogs to daycare, while only having to play a game for a living.
She would most definitely put a kid in daycare + a bunch of extra activities so she can be without that responsibility for as long as possible during the day.

What stress? Someone would smack me if I complained of stress in her position. I also grind my teeth and am on my heaviest period day. I guess everything should be paused in my life while I deal with these inconveniences.
