Sims Youtubers #9 Lovestruck flailing, Lilsimsie not prevailing, Kelsey hiding from the press, who can impress?

What I don't get is their BS "there will be too much noise" for why they CAN'T do their jobs.....yeah, during the day. These people aren't working 24/7. Get off your lazy asses and adjust your schedules and do your job at night when they're gone 🙄

Or, like everyone else on YT, they should've planned ahead and pre recorded tit. At least James anyway, Deli can't do anything bc I'm sure she's had her period for the last 3 months 🙄

Yeah I am surprised that James hasn't pre recorded any videos!

I watched their Delidiary "Packing up to move video" and I was so bored. It was mostly James working while Deli wandered the house showing the smallest thigs to be "fixed" and I just kept thinking 💲💸💰. I could swear at 1 point I heard James make a comment about how he was working and she was filming. Deli had to do this long thing about matcha tea and she sat down to drink it of course. I don't begrudge her a break but James was doing most of it. She also talked about her dogs, dogs pooping, and her garden. The funniest part was James hanging his laundry on the clothesline and every shirt was black and all his underwear was black. I was just left with the idea that they must have a lotttt of money to be able to afford every little thing Deli wants.

I think this might have come up before. But omg Deli talking about using vodka for cleaning and it's absolut. Use Smirnoff or Stolichniya or something gurl.

Holy tit they changed their other internal doors to locked doors so the tradies can't "wander in by accident". And then she says "but it's good for them too because if something get stolen then they can say they couldn't get in".

Just got recommend one of her videos and... Jesus.
Why does she talk like that? Is that a speech impediment or something? I don't want to be rude if that's the case because what and annoying voice. I really want to see the build, but ugh 😖
Maybe on mute? 😂

she’s Norwegian! At first I wasn’t keen on her but now I really like her. She’s super creative and her builds are always really good

James also did a members-only vlog. They are sharing a recording setup at the new place, and he said it's likely to take 10 weeks. This rental is fully furnished, so they've just set up a desk and their recording equipment. Sounds like James is planning on watching a lot of TV and doing not much

10 weeks?!?!?! What!!!

10 weeks?!?!?! What!!!
They are doing a LOT of work. Between Deli's two videos and James', this is what I can remember them saying they are doing, besides installing the new kitchen:
  • Painting outside of house
  • squaring off archway
  • removing wall between dining and kitchen
  • replacing 2 windows
  • replacing back door
  • removing panelling
  • removing cork from wall
  • removing pantry
  • removing wall in kitchen
  • retiling laundry
  • adding laundry door
  • redoing laundry bench (this one I'm not certain on)
  • Changing doors between hallway/living room
That's all I can remember, but it's a hell of a lot of work ($$$)

Wait I read it as it will take 10 weeks to set up the recording equipment 😅 silly me

LOL as someone who has built and changed things 2 years ago and very recently.. add a lot of extra weeks to whatever timeframe the tradies give you

Right, I should give up my career and do whatever they’re doing

I didn't mean the accent, I have a thick accent in English too, so I get it lol
I meant that she suddenly elongates one syllable or word, than suddenly takes super fast...keeps going back and forth. It's was so weird to me. But true, the build were nice!

Caryn and Connie are becoming more and more cashgrabby and it’s sad. I completely get it - get sponsored every video and focus on videos that won’t take as long or are cutdowns from stream.

It’s a savvy business model that’s working well for them, so kudos. Just feels a bit inauthentic.

Yeah she is like that! I presumed it was a gen z thing

Remember a Danish speed-builder (not sure if she’s still around) who read on a forum that she was obsessed with single and teen parents and then she went to tweet about it? She said it was because her parents were divorced but I honestly think it’s because 13 year olds think ‘teen mum’ stories are the deepest thing ever and it was an easy way to get a lot of views AND gallery downloads at the same time.

I’m pretty sure that was Aveline sims. She still uploads house building videos and they seem different from that but I was so embarrassed for her when she said that. Like if that’s what she likes it’s fine but she seemed really salty about what people were saying when it was true in the first place.

Yup, it was Aveline lol. Haven't heard her name around here in a while and haven't been recommended any of her videos in years. Wonder if she's gotten over the teen mom/teen runaway builds yet

I had to take a look and yikes, Kelsey's views are terrible. But then again, she's on part 29 of the last generation of her NSB challenge, and the heir is still a teen. How is dragging this out so much? (Also someone in the comments called her out for making all of the male love interests be the exact same, which is funny because she was doing that way back in the first few generations. The comment said the Sim looked like she was dancing at prom with her great-grandpa, which 😂 )

And I feel bad about this because I genuinely like her and her builds are so beautifully detailed, but I'm struggling a bit to get through Rishella's NSB challenge. I've had it on in the background, and even then, I can't take the constant rule-bending. Look, I'm not above or against cheating in the Sims, it's a long-standing tradition at this point lol but I don't get why these Simmers are doing challenges that are meant to be a bit, well, challenging at times and doing everything they can to get out of the hard parts. Kelsey is the queen of this, but Rishella's not too far behind.

Did we know that Kelsey wrote a YA Novel? It's called "Voice of the Ocean". It doesn't come out until April according to Amazon.

The tag line is as follows: " From popular content creator Kelsey Impicciche, Voice of the Ocean follows a daring young siren who defies her people to save a human prince, unearthing ancient magic and igniting a dangerous romance amid treacherous waters. "
