Let’s all support this wonderful cook book that has a collection of recipes from around NZ. No frozen grapes recipe either and NZ Women’s Refuge benefits from it.

Here’s some advice Simone. It takes a lot of effort, time and money to look as poor as you do.

But it’s ok, because you have a shallow life of parties, ready made babysitters and grifting to make a buck.

just a thought. If being a mum is truely a dream for you, move out of the high density cookie cutter suburb. Find a home with a lawn, (probably out of Akl *shudder*) join play centre, organise social events for the families, enjoy emotionally rich friendships and watch your boys grow. You could even get a part time job that’s actually valuable to society.

Then, when your boys have their own kids you’ll be available to look after your grandkids which I’m sure you’ll be super keen to just like Wendy is for you.

There's plenty of happy and wholesome families with involved parents who spend time with their kids in Hobsonville & Scott Point. The house has very little to do with it. Ultimately, it's just a building. There's tens of thousands of good mums and great parents in Auckland and whatever is stopping Simone from that kind of involvement has little to do with living in the city.

I would have thought someone who dreamed of being a mum would spend time with their kids, first and foremost. Maybe that's the place to start.

Yes you’re right. Her carefully managed appearance of wealth must also be quite the fulltime job for her. The merc, new home etc, travelling then declaring “ad” after she’s done a deal with the company.
Because she’s not naturally outwardly maternal (from what we see). Creating a “home” in her current house isn’t realistic because it’s beyond her skill set.
I didn’t mean to detract from the lovely people who already live there. Who work hard with and for their families.
