I’m rewatching Season 1 and the naked dress was so amazing. So 90s!

This dress didn't work well in trying to mask her pregnancy, you could see her bump in the episode where she goes about moaning about Nina Katz. The bag is to die for though, what a colour.
Same in the episode where they went to Vegas - when she had this top on, when she was walking around you could clearly see her pregnant belly under the tassels on the top.

Maybe it was the hormones but I couldn't stand her in these episodes

And that one

Never understood why she wore a fascinator on the dinner date with Berger. Just looked stupid.

This one too, is awful. Last ever scene on the phone to Big.

I've just no words for this either... Miranda's outfit actually takes the biscuit!

I actually liked the Viv Westwood wedding dress minus the bird she wore on her head, it was too much. I loved the bridesmaid dresses.

I love the Newspaper dress. I remember watching something about the 2nd film where they had to try and hunt down the exact dress, it was flown in from somewhere and had to be sent right back because it was being used by a model or something.

Loved these two outfits on Charlotte

I loved Charlotte in this pink dress. Stunning, classy and the perfect fit!

Oh when Charlotte leaves the house and walks down the street in the pink dress to go to Brady's birthday party. And the little look between her and Miranda when she shows up. That's a great SATC moment.

The Badgley Mischka dress Charlotte wore to marry Harry was absolutely gorgeous and really suited her.
Audrey Hepburnowitz!

When Trey buys Charlotte the cardboard baby, that’s the type of dumb tit only a man could do

I just watched this episode the other day! It’s a great one.

Honestly, I know many aspects of SATC haven’t aged well, and let’s completely forget the dire and offensive second movie, but... a LOT of the original show is still really relevant today.

I think people forget it absolutely was a groundbreaking TV show - to see female characters persuing pleasure for pleasures sake, to be in control of their romantic choices and not give into the pressure of settling, and also to have these very different archetypes of women actually be friends and find common ground.

Everyone goes on about what a selfish witch Carrie is now, but I always thought the whole point was that she’s a flawed, self-centred character... but often relatable, because none of us are perfect. Personally I think one of the reasons it was such a landmark show for so many women is because it presented women with the concept of CHOICE, with a backdrop of aspirational living in New York City, with outrageous clothes and fancy restaurants etc.

Charlottes pink dress is possibly my favourite outfit of the series. Also Carries newspaper dress mentioned by a PP above, it was just the perfect fit and shape for her figure.
I also love Carries velvet coat on her ‘big date’ when she’s called away to see Miranda in labour - just gorgeous.
