I keep thinking he’s going to get early onset dementia, like his mother had, but the cancer returning seems more likely….
 
I don't see why they couldn't just split Steve and Miranda amicably, have them coparenting and then Miranda can go on her journey and Steve can be happy too. Whatever the hell they're doing isn't justifying why Miranda has to leave, it's just making her look like a giant dick for cheating on her deaf, devoted husband and a hypocrite for doing the exact same thing she chastised him for only worse because she's going back for sloppy second fingers.

Probably because they thought it would be boring? Also because Nixon is a producer now and for some reason thinks it’s a good idea?

I agree. Especially if Miranda's journey was she'd always had heterosexual relationships then when her marriage ended (amicably), she decided to explore. It would be nice to even see her conversations with Steve about it as I imagine they'd still be good friends. I can imagine Steve knowing more about non binaryism than she does and her getting all uppity about it.

I more meant the similarity between Carrie’s and Miranda storylines. I think it would have been god as well, but they probably wanted something “scandalous”. Charlotte is still quite happy with Harry, and Carrie can’t be expected to be involved in something scandalous like an affair.

She/he/they really are All The Things, aren't they? :rolleyes: Although I guess there was no room to include 'predatory narcissistic whackjob' in there. I have to wonder about people's sense of identity when they have to attach SO MANY labels to themselves. I'm gay and Irish – those things are part of who I am, but they're certainly not everything. I'd rather be known as a girlfriend/daughter/friend/kind of an asshole when hangry, etc. (without needing to state that I'm all those things in my social media bios!). I mean...just be a person, you know?
