I'm disappointed that they've made Che so one dimensional, disrespectful of others' boundaries and so, well, predatory. They had a chance to show a genuine person and what it means to be non binary, but they've given us this? I find it weird that Sara Ramirez, a non-binary person themself, was happy to represent this way. Unless Che is going to get a learning arc, which might actually be good to see given the character is not coming across well right now.

I doubt it. I have a feeling the writers and actors think they've aced this, especially if you listen to the podcasts, or interviews with Cynthia Nixon.

Che is probably meant to represent the type of modern, confident person we should all aspire to be. Next time I go to a colleagues house I'm taking tequila and grass, and will aim to finger bang someone in her kitchen. Hopefully the colleague is ill too, just to make me feel even more happy with my life choices!

Oh yes, and make sure whoever you finger bang is married and you don't even ask if they consent!

From the future episode descriptions, Che doesn't appear to have a major role in episode 6, and episode 7 describes Miranda "rekindling her romance with Steve following radio silence from Che" ......
It's entirely possible that Che's served her purpose as a prominent character in the first half of the season - as Miranda's "orientation exploration" moment, and may simply fade into the background as the podcast host, featured in a handful of scenes here and there.
Bring on Anthony's plastic surgery story line, and Carrie back on the dating scene.

"Side Characters"
Who do we want to see more of .....

I vote Seema.

Just caught up…

Between Carrie flinging her own piss around the room and Miranda attempting to communicate with whales (I’m surprised Steve couldn’t hear her from miles away through his hearing aids….Miranda what did you shay?? *inaudible throat chanting*) I feel we have missed out on discussing what was perhaps the most disturbing part of the episode for me:

SEEING THE HALLWAY AND STAIRS OF CARRIES APARTMENT BUILDING

I don’t know why this was so unnerving for me, it felt like I should look away 😂

I was confused how she walked up the front steps un-aided but got inside and suddenly needed the umbrella 😂

I would actually watch a new programme with LTW, Seema and Nya Wallace! They all seem so much more savvy, smarter and comfortable with who they are than the original 3, they don’t seem like they’ve been in a coma for 15 years and suddenly woken up in 2021 and they’re all stunning! Not that that matters in terms of a character but they’re beautiful to look at.
Che can get in the bin, they could have been a great asset to the show but what they’ve done to them is make them a horrible predator.
