I think it was very on brand for Carrie not to have a go at Miranda for being a big old cheater. For all her many faults she is only judgemental when it comes to what people look/ dress like, she rarely seems bothered by the other girl’s behaviour. The fact she knew Miranda was gaga over Che and forgot to tell her she would be at the school thing was very Carrrie behaviour-does not effect Carrie personally so not an issue. It was funny.

A young Miranda's not impressed...

Just watched a promo video where Sara R says this, which I can't quite square. I'm guessing she's happy with how Che turned out?

queerness is integral to telling stories especially for folks in their 40s andt heir 50s because a lot of times we position the conversation around sexuality as sort of a subtle topic and it's not don't hold yourself back it think it's important that people keep in mind that we are still rediscovering ourselves and queerness makes space for that

No idea what she’s going about. But I can imagine Sara is chuffed to bits with how Che is portrayed. Despite the criticism. But I feel like she’s confusing queerness with being an hole? Che’s ‘queerness’ seems to have given them a god complex 🤔

Its not about sexuality though, you can be non binary and talk about sex or whatever but be a nice person, my problem is, Che’s character isn’t nice or has any redeeming qualities.

If that character was male, everyone would be calling him predatorty Or fuckboy or whatever. The way she spoke to carrie in the lift , would be deemed sexual assault by a male in the workplace. Masturabtion in public is an offence but because che talks about it, its cool and funny 🙄 these things are never ok, no matter your gender or sexual orientation

It seems you can’t criticise Them though because you’ll be labelled as a transphone or terf or whatever.

Anyway I've just rewatched S1Ep1 of SATC, planning to rewatch the whole thing. Carrie is just so sexy! When I first watched it I never really got her and didn't think she was that attractive but now I see it. She's stunning in her own way. Samantha is so gorgeous as well.

Also the whole thing is so well done. Sure it's mostly shallow fluff but it's punchy, witty, flows really well and I feel like I've seen more of NYC in the first 10 minutes than in the whole of AJLT. I feel like AJLT could be set in any generic American city and not be any different. And it's really really missing Carrie's narration.

I just don't understand the whole non binary thing. Like since she is a bio woman is she therefore a lesbain or does she not use that term because she's no binary 🤷🏼‍♀️
Who honestly knows at this point?!!! Che is an awful person and has zero redeeming qualities- gay/straight/non binary/table cloth/marshmallow - whatever she wants to call herself she’s still awful.

That's a lot of word salad to say 'I'm a twit'. (Che, not you @Yel!)

Slightly confused as Sara’s “Hispanic identifying”. Does that mean you don’t actually have to be Hispanic? 🤔. I’d like to identify as a Brazilian 25 year old swim wear model, in that case 😂

No, it's actually so they don't get called Latinx/Latina, which people often use interchangeably with Hispanic when there is a difference.

I don’t get what “Latin or Hispanic identified people” means? Surely your race/ethnic background is not something you choose to identify as, it is something you are or not?
Well you could say the same about being born male or female and then deciding you are something else whenever it takes your fancy!
Im just waiting for someone to start “identifying” as something other than human…
Today i identify as a bread bin. My pronouns are bread/bin. I want a toilet that’s accessible for bread bins and I want there to be prisons for bread bins and I want it to say that I’m a bread bin on my passport and don’t you DARE question me because yknow - BREADBINPHOBE
