She certainly comes across very calculated in this video - which is fine! - but a lot of her one liners didn’t land and she tripped herself up talking about avoiding the reunion but going to a photoshoot two days after. I do believe the show is heavily scripted but she’s not doing herself any favours here


 
I can’t believe anyone really thinks they have super edited the show to make Christine look worse. The one person Christine cares about is herself, she fully leaned into the villain story line. Wouldn’t surprise me if she was in kahoots with the producers to ensure she was made the villain.

Also all the people saying she is honest and at least she doesn’t hide it. Christine is the sneakiest slyest one on that show, she can scream about how honest she is but really, who is she loyal to? Who has she been loyal to? There isn’t a single woman or man on that show she hasn’t slagged off publicly.

It’s all about the publicity and raising her profile and she wasn’t going to get that by being one of the background girls (ie Maya, Amanza, Heather)

She couldn’t play the part of the newbie that went to Chrishell, she couldn’t do the Mary role of hustlin self made single mom. Everything she does is calculated.

Completely agree - all you need to do is look at how she acts off the show. In between seasons she’s selling stories to the press about her “Co-workers” (not sure what else to call them but the other girls on the show) and didn’t she tweet so much about Chrishell that Chrishell threatened to sue her? She hasn’t sold a house in years so I think she jumped before she got pushed

I really find it hard to find that the whole day with Mary was faked, or else why would Mary have talked about it on and after the show saying how bad it was?

Perhaps Mary and the rest of the girls don't have the agency to delve too deep into the show and stick to the storylines shown in the show.

When Adam Divello was taken up for sexual harassment by Heidi Montag, I didn't see other girls supporting her. It's pack/girl gang mentality too. Perhaps they want to keep staying on the show to stay relevant and to pay their bills. Christine doesn't need that and is comfortable enough to move out or talk facts about the show since she is the actual star and making the most money out of it, has her own brokerage now etc. If you checked the video I posted earlier, she clearly didn't do the bribe and it was a fake storyline.

Think about it this way, if your boss (Adam Divello) hates you, if they can't fire you, they would just make you quit by giving you crappy storylines and making you look bad even if you tried to redeem yourself. I know, I know Christine loves being a villain but even she admitted on interviews that there were so many different sides to her personality filmed but the editors want to make her look a certain way and they succeeded.

That said, Chrishell is definitely not a nice person and is an absolute attention seeker. Mary isn't a great boss. Vanessa is disposable. Heather is Tarek's bulldog towards his ex-wife, we LOVE Maya (still sad she left), Davina really changed and Amanza is trying really hard to stay relevant. Emma is useless too and she has the most egregious lies like matching Ben Affleck (his reps confirmed this never happened), that Micah storyline was so fake and her empanadas should be called something else because wtf, those are definitely not empanadas.
