Nearly through season 5.

Imo Emma was brought in as she has higher value properties (20mil vs 2 mil for e.g) which would have worked if they showed and discussed what makes it 20 mil rather than 2 mil..... similar to season 2 when Jason was quizzing amanza and talked about flooring, doors and wine cooloers And why its more expensive. That elemen t of real estate was insightful.

Last two seasons have been simply home tours, the girls just saying wow its nice/cute and nice view. They need to discuss the interiors, materials used, comparisons. Also previous seasons they had variety of houses now its all in the hills, very close to neighbours houses, white, massive bifold doors, same staging.. no individuality or privacy.

Show more brett and jason, show Amanza's staging (missing a trick by not showcasing that enough), annoyed/happy clients, technical real estate, behind the scenes of open houses.

Last season Simu Liu (??) made the season exciting as did the other celeb clients, this season not even that, its just boring now. Sooooo over the whole Christine vs the world story. get rid of crishelle and christine maybe...

I think some people are missing the point. It’s not meant to be about real estate really. That’s just the backdrop to the drama. Plenty other programs around if that’s your interest though but selling sunset is never gonna be it 🫣
 
Thought it was so strange that Emma and Micah went on all their dates but were like in the hot tub together but never actually kissed so just a fake storyline?
Also how convenient Jason and Chrishells relationship started in episode 1 and ended in episode 10, tit acting from Chrishell in regards to all that as well
Amanza did a great job getting upset for them, Mary couldn't even pretend like she cared 😆
 
I know it may well have been scripted for the sake of the show, but watching everyone carry on about Jason and Chrishell and then maybe getting married or having kids etc, makes me super uncomfortable. Especially when you watch it from the lense of knowing they break up by the end of the season. Every interaction involving them or conversation about them makes me wince and cringe. Extra tacky.

yes, I was shocked to see everyone so excited for them “to now get married and have babies” Off the bat! It seemed so intense for Jason and maybe that freaked him a little ? Also who knows what these people are like in real life… I feel they have all changed since becoming a big hit on Netflix, more money coming in etc.
 
The scene where Chelsea meets with Davina and she’s wearing that outfit with the red tights and red chunky shoes, the first words out of any of my friends mouths would be “what the F have you come as?!” I can’t believe they think they look good in those so called couture outfits!!
