If I’m selling something that is bobbly I’ll always debobble it before taking photos! Last week I received shoes for my toddler and they were dirty on the bottom, it all came off with a wet wipe but personally I do that before I sell them as I think you might then get a few £ more!

Same here! But now I keep getting SS that lie about items being perfect condition and then the material is so thin/ tatty it probably wouldn’t survive being debobbled anyway. I think it’s the material they make some maternity clothes out of with the idea that it will be nice and stretchy but it looks like it washes and wears so badly 😭

I've decided for once I'm not going to accept such crap! So I've raised an issue! Today's scruffy item was the straw that's broke the camels back, thanks for your replies guys 💖

I did the same recently! I bought a dress that stank of smoke and had loose threads everywhere so I’ve sent it back. Annoying that I have to pay to send it back but I didn’t even want to resell it in the condition it was in!

Dont get why they didn't have this royal mail option earlier tbh

Royal mail pricing is redic tho, I remember only a few years ago it went to £.30 and i was aghast then

It's a shame that we don't seem to be able to get Royal mail collected.
I haven’t been able to test it out as no one has selected Royal Mail since it’s been integrated but I think you can. I think go to arrange a collection and then scan the barcode. At least I’m hoping this will work.

My favourite thing to do today is decline offers. Someone offered me £1.80 for a bnwt £3 item. Someone else offered me £3.50 for a £5.50 item.
i slept like shite so they can all duck off……and up the price goes 🤑

i’m just not in the mood/ i’d rather bin it than let u take the pisssss

GUYS CHECK UR POSTAGE OPTIONS. I have never had royal mail as an option and i had a sale last night. Just went and checked and she’s picked royal mail?! I’m going to have to send it as otherwise i’ll feel bad but never again.
yeah just checked mine and they’ve turned Royal Mail back on again. At least this time we can turn it off

Ah why is Vinted customer service the absolute worst. Got a parcel mixed up by Inpost.
Raised a problem and sent all the photos they asked for. They asked for them again, in the messages they threaten that if I don’t reply in 2 days they will release the money to the buyer and it’s my choice if I want to keep the item which is not as described then I can return at my expense. Yet again tried to explain that the seller doesn’t want it either. Yesterday I got another message asking for the same photos again but I can’t respond to the message, yet again they state if I don’t respond they will release funds to seller. Absolute fuckers

If it’s something you like I bought a debobbler from Home Bargains for a few quid which has been great. But I don’t think it should be down to you to do that.
I don't know if the post was legit or not but I did see in the Molly Mae thread that their customer service is offering 10% refunds to people on the £140 blazer to cover the cost of them going out to get a debobbler 😫😂

I’m having the same issue with a mixed up Inpost parcel, I’ve sent them photos twice now. Almost 2 weeks later and still no actual response, just the same automated message 🫠

It’s so annoying when you’ve already done what they asked for, it’s like they’re trying to catch you out. Bet they make a lot of money out of the 48 hour rule..

I had this when inpost first cocked up, the seller obviously didn't want a random return 🤣 by the time vinted sorted it out they had released the money. I pushed on and eventually got a refund too, but it took about 3 weeks from the parcel being delivered, very annoying!

Did you keep replying to the original message reporting it? I feel like they are now ignoring that message thread and have started another

I’ve read somewhere that people have charged back via their bank so may resort to that.

I've just had someone receive something and for the first time they're saying its not as expected. I don't even know what to do from here 🤣 can I offer partial refunds? Do I tell them to send it back? Argh! My rsd can't cope with this

This polish bird will not give it a rest. I said i dont have paypal as a gentle let down and now she wants to do a bank transfer. I didnt reply and today she says she really wants it and has been hunting this item for months.
I just don’t buy it. Is this a new scam?!

Sounds a bit weird to me...doesn't she know anyone in the UK who could buy through Vinted and forward onto her...? What's the item?

Tell her it’s against Vinted rules to operate outside the agreed process.
And as such leaves both buyer & seller in a position to have accounts shutdown.

If she that interested she could get a friend to order for her and send it on!

Otherwise just stop caring and block! That’s what I would probably do!
