FFS 🤦
Some people think their problems are somehow yours 😜

I sold something, nearly ten days ago, but when I went to package it a few hours later I couldn’t find it.
Mass declutter so must have accidentally made its way to the charity shop!
So contacted seller immediately and apologised saying I has to cancel order unfortunately. But as a goodwill gesture would offer her the other dearer one for same price

No response

Now cheek to contact me today……
Oh no so I’m not getting this ???
????
What??
????
It was for my sons birthday 😤

For duck sake, what does she want me to do magic up another one? It was a brand new with tags gym bag she already has bartered down to just 30% of the RRP! Take your need ass to Sports Direct it’s not my issue!
Told you clearly 10days ago, offered you an alternative which has now also sold a week ago!
It’s always for their child’s birthday, isn’t it 😂

I think you did more than what most people would’ve done, you could’ve wasted her time and waited until it auto-cancelled, but instead you offered an alternative. I understand feeling disappointed as a buyer, but it’s not your fault she didn’t read your messages after 10 days.

Hope you didn’t bother replying and hit the block button straight away! 👋

Did send her a ‘
told you that ages ago 🙇‍♀️

Right, problem: sold something today and was just packing it and noticed some little stains on it, I’ve messaged the buyer and sent her photos. She bought it as part of the bundle but what do we do now?

That's the most infuriating thing. They seem to respond to what THEY THINK they have read rather than what we ask.

I don't mean this to sound dodgy but they really need to take on some native English speakers for those countries that speak it as their first language rather than the very clever people who can speak and write fluently in more than one language as a common complaint is that they don't actually understand what the complaint is about and then do the wrong solution which makes the situation even worse.
How do you know they’re not “native English speakers”?

Vinted just replied to my message about Royal Mail (a bit late now 😅) apparently it was a technical issue after all!

They always speak like AI, but with the response time of a drunken snail.

whenever i sell on vinted it makes me feel so much better abt myself.. i never offer and especially not silly ones, I never ask stupid questions and I always click confirm as recieved as soon as I open and inspect the item!!! I dont know why nobody presses that anymore??? is it because other people dont press it for them so they've decided to get back at random people??? like what????

The fact that a completely different question that I haven't asked or even mentioned in my message is often answered by them.

I'm not meaning every single agent, nor am I meaning to be offensive or racist, it's the last thing I am/mean. All I meant is that their poor customer service responses (as mentioned, questions answered that aren't asked, getting the issue wrong. Causing issues and not understanding what is wrong when they're corrected etc) often lead to an unpleasant or drawn out issue that often gets "solved" by them in ways that go against logic , common sense or fairness to the buyer or seller who is asking for help

Yes !! I used their new simple shipping and thats what the bastards chose
As @ATV2021 said, keep those amazon boxes. Put anything like that in cardboard, then a bag if wanted, as it stops it bunching up and being 'thicker'

I do have a sly trick with RM, pay the fee via paypal. Then make a claim noting it was unjust as it was sent correctly, in my experience RM never dispute them and you get the money back.
