My sister will be celebrating this story about 'Greg'....of course not all creepy people are 'obvious' but she hates him with such a visceral passion she will be delighted he might be off her telly screen forever! She just sees him as a market trader who's bullshitted his way in front of a camera (whether this is the case, I don't know). But he is incredibly smarmy.

The 'making a timeslot for lovemaking' thing is soooo Alan Partridge.

Any chat about Gregggggggggg is the perfect excuse to throwback when I was trying to discuss that ridiculous “day in the life of” with my husband, and he said “the one from masterchef who looks like penfold?”

Never been more thrilled with my selection of life partner 😂

Gregg Wallace steps down from MasterChef over BBC complaints

REJOICE TATTLERS

I love Midge Ure. It is a bit of weird crossover considering Midge was in Slick which was very Bay City Rollerish. He then went on to form Rich Kids which was with ex Sex Pistol Glen Matlock. The Sex Pistols were all very contrived really and as organic as Take That and The Spice Girls. :ROFLMAO:
Met Matlock once and he struck me as a bit posh tbh.. odd because I know both his sons well and they're not..

I really don't like Gregg and think he's a talentless lump but I just scanned the headlines about him and it says some senior people in the BBC are saying he told sexualised stories and made comments some time back. If someone behaves inappropriatey (in whatever way) in work it should be dealt with at the time. It doesn't look like these are criminal accusations so why didn't someone take action then? it says Kirsty Wark heard it so why didn't she tell him he was being a twit then go to senior management and tell them so he could get a warning (or even, better, quietly sideline him). I completely understand if we were talking about young or new staff who didn't feel able or confident to speak out but some of these names had a lot of clout at the BBC so why let it fester?
