Coleen and Eamonn were previously very friendly. For her to be coming out for Ruth like this suggests a hell of a lot has gone on and she seems firmly on Ruth's side. Especially with the "How can you not say anything?" comment, suggesting there is a an awful lot Ruth could say which wouldn't show Eamonn in a good light.

Am I right in saying that there doesn't seem to be stories of him being a pedalo himself, but that he allegedly allowed his flat to be used by them, and kept company with some dodgy people?

He had friends who would look after his place while he was away filming.

A few consensual affairs with adults isn‘t going to have me tarring and feathering a rock star; it’s crappy and embarrassing thing to do to one’s family, but even then I think there are worse things that can happen in a relationship [waves in general direction of women murdered by their ex-husbands]

Given all that’s coming out about Neil Gaiman, recently, a consensual affair seems kind of quaint in comparison to that horror-show.
Now, I’ve been side-eyeing him since the drama-queen Tweet about leaving New Zealand during the pandemic, because he knew Amanda would react as Amanda reacts, and he looked like the “good guy”.

Being a pedalo no...nothing but rumours but he has admitted he has wandering hands and bragged about it which obviously isn't as bad but icky considering how he is seen by many.

From what I remember, whoever the person was that was talked about, it was someone who was universally beloved and it would shock everyone when revealed. They supposedly do have stuff on whoever it is but no one would come forward publicly or talk to the police because they know they would be called liars and harrassed. Now, I'm not saying it is Jason. Still, when he admitted to harassing people on sets during an interview and was called out, people defended him saying he was a national treasure and they should be ashamed of what they were saying as he was only having a laugh. So if it is him (again not saying it is), this proved why people would be reluctant to discuss him.

I only heard allegations about him from a friend who told me that a friend of hers was a victim of his personally. Now, I don't know her friend, and I know this is very tenuous, however my friend is a pretty well-connected woman who has told me plenty of information over the last 25 years about famous people she knows/knows about, and most of what she told me has turned out much later to be true. She's never told me anything that's then ever been proven to be false, either.

So I totally get why I'm not bringing anything damning in here, I can't cite sources and I understand why people wouldn't believe the rumours based on me saying this, however my friend's belief that it's true has convinced me and I fully expect this to be confirmed one day.

Was that as an adult though or when they were a child?
 
Whilst I think Mark Williams-Thomas is a fame bleep who will say anything to get himself in the press sadly I wouldn’t be surprised at another big BBC related cover up. They prove time and time again that they are inept at addressing anything serious and will cover up for the ‘talent’.

Is she maybe on some sort of anti depressants or something impacting her speech? Or perhaps just emotional/still grieving from her brother’s death?

I hadn’t realised she had drink/drug problems in the past but perhaps the way she was suddenly in the limelight on Heroes had a negative impact.
