Talking of retro boozing...

While on footie tour earlier this year I was roundly mocked by the other dads for caning through several buckets of Smirnoff Ice on the caravan site we stayed on - £10 for an ice bucket of 4 - while they were on Madri

Then the next day - they all dragged slabs of Madri down the beach for the BBQ - I 'wisely' hit cider in a box - 6 litres of rocket fuel in 2 boxes meant I carried more actual booze for less weight. They were all complaining that their Madri was tit warm... my cider was perfick!! Oooh Aaah me lovers!

Bonus was I burned my empty boxes on the bonfire we had, they had to carry their empties back up.

They mocked until they realised the genius in my plan.

True dat Pernod and black was my first bought drink in the pub, it was 60pish in them thar 80's. Malibu and pineapple. Loved a Hooch when they came along.
