There are definitely no majorly traumatic moments in the Bros one. IIRC it was televised on Boxing Day a few years ago and felt like perfect Christmas viewing.

That's my afternoon sorted. There was a documentary called something similar about the 1970's boyband the Bay City Rollers, I think Nicky Clarke did it, and it was so sad and so sordid, especially with regard to their horrible paedophile manager. I hope the Bros one is bit more uplifting.

Nicky Clarke is a hairdresser, isn't he? Oops, highly unlikely to be doing a doc about boybands. My Auntie Cathy was/is a big Rollers fan and I watched it with her. It was really upsetting to see how those teenagers were manipulated and abused.

Oh good, I'm glad he's still working in show business and hasn't turned into a bitter twit like Steve Brookstein. It really wasn't his year to win X Factor, One Direction were the proper winners in every sense of the word.

If it’s the one that first aired on the Beeb, then there are moments of pure hilarity in the bros documentary, albeit some sad ones too.
The BCR one was just so utterly depressing and shocking
