Schofield and Talbot are both cheeks of the same arse.I'm sure Schofield thinks he's nothing like Fred the weatherman at all.

Both of them liked their prey young. In some ways, Talbot’s behaviour was worse because he was a teacher at the time.Schofield and Talbot are both cheeks of the same arse.
Yes, I agree, and despite my dislike for Scofe, he’s not a sex offender and to lump him and Talbot together was wrong.Schofield has never been accused of a crime.
I'm not defending him, particularly, because what he did was undoubtedly creepy (and indeed "unwise") but comparing him to a convicted sex offender is a bit much.
Just seen in the movie they are making of Richard Osman’s book his wife has been cast. Wonder how she got that role?

I’m sure i once heard that they managed to get her away from him after the phone call but I don’t know if I’m misremembering or if it was true.On the Richard & Judy documentary they showed a clip from This Morning from when Denise was the Agony Aunt. There was a phone in and someone rang up saying that their husband was abusive and they don’t know how to get away from him. Her husband had gone to work (I think) which was why she was able to call up. They said to her to get some help, maybe she could go out and speak to a neighbour or someone and the caller says the husband had locked her in the house. They all said call the police, this isn’t on, what if there was a fire. Richard said either you can call the police or do you want us to do it. I think the caller said she’d do it. Denise said she’d call her back straight after to see how she got on
I wouldn’t have minded hearing a follow up to this as I don’t recall what happened next with this woman
Wasn't she married to someone else when they met?I do like both Richard and Judy, am I misremembering or were they vilified for their age gap which I have just googled and is 8 years, which doesn't seem a great deal now.
I read that in the early stages of their romance Judy bought Richard a necklace with a J on. Their bosses did not like the romance and he had to pretend the J was a saxophone and he was mad about jazz for a considerable period of time .
Is it a rave thread? If so, I’ll give it a wide berth
I seem to think they both were and she had small childrenWasn't she married to someone else when they met?
Oooh juicy gossip!! Decades old but I don't care, I am here for it.I seem to think they both were and she had small children
Thinking back i think I must have read Richard's autobiography years ago so the issue was conveniently skirted over.Oooh juicy gossip!! Decades old but I don't care, I am here for it.
Richard met Judy in 1982 when he joined Granada to present alongside Tony Wilson and Judy. At the time, both of them were married – Judy to David Henshaw and Richard to his first wife Lynda.
Imagine shagging Richard Madeley though
