Aww I remember him. The X factor became so bad but I would give anything to have it back on a Saturday night. Once the X factor started you knew you were sorted until Christmas time for weekend telly now I just have to make do with my boyfriend getting pissed off at FIFA.

Weak tea but I was at school with Rhydian. I remember when his first audition was on thinking could it be him, but at school he was literally twice the size. He was a front row in the first fifteen rugby team, head boy, and was well known for his singing. I'm sure there was a whole concert just for him* and he did an amazing version of tears in heaven that had everyone cheering.

* it was a very male dominated and sexist school, so being a rugby star and great singer meant he got treatment I doubt any of the female students would get.

He's another I feel has a false persona that plays up for the camera, and imagine is a nightmare backstage/at home.
 
Does anyone remember the Chawner family from the early XF auditions? One of the daughters auditioned first of all, wearing a dress her dad had made. She got some vicious comments from the panel and her mum, dad, and sister marched on stage to shout at Simon. Both daughters auditioned a year later, then they got a show with Lorraine 'Growler' Kelly to lose weight, find jobs and generally improve their lives. I'm not sure what happened after that.
