Katherine said that the 5 were not thriving. Lee Mack definitely is. On loads of tv. Doubt it is him. Arguably Walliams isn’t thriving tv wise, having been let go recently. Still has books, but no tv work. Newspaper reports also say a few of them dropped out of main tv 10 years ago - Lee Hurst is a bit dodgy. Could he be a contender. Mark Lamarr also, friends with Sean Hughes. In that Guardian article on Hughes it said they both had loads of women - he disappeared too.

didn’t mark lamarr have some kind of assault/false imprisonment charges against him a few years back too? i seem to remember it being reported but then nothing more.

like you say, these aren’t going to be men whose careers are currently going well (like a lee mack, romesh type or some of the other names said here) - far more likely to be similar to the names you’ve mentioned.

have to say i’m sad to read the articles about sean hughes that have been shared here. i really only remember him from buzzcocks and have no idea that his life had gone that way in the end.

Norm always made me deeply uneasy. There is an incredibly uncomfortable interview with Drew Barrymore on his talk show.

Wouldn’t the 5 being hinted at be more likely to be contemparies of Katherine Ryan and Sara Pascoe though?
So Walliams could be one, but Mark Lamarr and Lee Hurst - would they not be from a different era? Albeit still very problematic.
I don’t want to throw names out there on a whim but I can think of two or three who would be regulars on shows like Mock the Week, who you don’t really hear of now.

Ya know I do wonder when / if Tom Cruise will ever get exposed. Not that I think he's a predator, it's just that you hear and see bits and bobs throughout the years like the way his Scientology beliefs led him to treat Nicole Kidman and Katie whatshername. I dunno, he's far too powerful in Hollywood and has the most amazing PR machine. I heard he has clever AI stuff in all his recent movies so he still appears 10 years younger than he looks in real life.

He just gives me the absolute visceral ick whenever I see him, just something about him makes me feel slimey.

YES!! This 100%. I cannot watch Tom Cruise films. Not since he said those stupid things about post natal depression. How would he know anyway???

I know anonymous cyber group hacked Scientology servers and released a video of TC talking about Scientology in a real nut job way. I can’t find the video now.


I honestly don’t know when his secrets might be revealed. . He makes too much money for the film industry.

shout out to Brooke Shields though for not taking it lying down. She called him out about it and well done to her as she is not at the same power level as he is.

Isn't it something men do, when they aren't aesthetically pleasing? They turn to comedy to make women laugh, and to get themselves noticed. That being said, that blond guy , Russell Howard, looks like he should be in a boyband. I wouldn't imagine he's ever had to coerce women to sleep with him.

Yeah, but he's not funny.in the slightest 😊... (actually he is rather boss eyed too)
 
With all this thinking about comedians (and I'm not implying that this person could be one of the dodgy ones) I've been wracking my brains trying to remember who the guy was who used to be on 8 Out Of 10 Cats/Does Countdown.

He did what Joe Wilkinson used to do; come on in the middle and be annoying. Not a contestant. He had NHS glasses, was sort of a disgusting character. Possible moustache? I've been googling and gone through IMDb but can't find him!

Again, not implying he is dodgy, just want to remember his name!
