Saw these comments on Reddit about entitled actors:

Walliams? I thought he was awful. It takes quite an effort to make Frankie Howerd seem like he didn't know how to do comedy or have any ability to make people laugh, but Walliams managed it. I know the focus was on his private life, but Walliams played him like someone with advanced Aspergers. Galton and Simpson, who worked with Howerd for years, were absolutely disgusted by that programme.

That’s not accurate. He is in prison for a violent crime and could be a risk to any visitor. He also has had next to no part in the maternity, birth, or life of the child due to his incarceration. Any family court is very likely to overrule any PR he might have for the child on the birth cert (and if she was against any contact with him, she would have been advised to not name him on the birth certificate which she could legally do) and say no, he’s a violent convicted criminal and contact can only be via letter, no amount of family money would change that.

It’s clearly her own decision to keep visiting.

I mean, Ian Huntley, Fred West... they had kids, do you honestly believe any court would insist their children had to visit them in prison “because they are the dad”?

If nothing else, don’t you think “I am forced to take my baby to visit my violent ex in prison” would be a sob story she would try and make money from? With all the this morning cronies ignoring their own transgressions and campaigning for a law change “to stop this kind of thing”?

No family court would make a child visit a parent in prison, particularly when its a violent crime.

I literally work in the contact service. I see this happening! You’d be amazed at the type of parents who are still entitled to see their children.

Again, I work within the system. I cannot use specific examples, but trust me, violent crime or not, you’d be amazed what the courts decide. The Social Workers will often provide absolute black and white reasons why a child should not have contact with their father and the judge will then still go ahead and grant it.
Working within the system has completely opened to my eyes. A year ago, I would have 100% said the same as yourself.

He’s been in trouble repeatedly while inside. All she has to do is say she is scared for the safety of her child and that’s enough to stop all contact and have social services look at it again. Of course, if both parents are saying they want the visits then it’s possibly a different matter...

I think even without the Chim rumours it’s an odd choice to give your baby your best friends cheating ex husbands surname as a name, I wouldn’t like it if I was Cheryl 🤷‍♀️

It is nothing to do with the mother. They will have a contact worker in with them who makes notes. It is reviewed quarterly, and social workers, mother, contact worker and an independent reviewer will provide details of the visits to the judge. If the dad has behaved himself during contact them a judge will continue to grant access

Do you know what, I’d forgotten all about the horrific case of poor Natalie Allman, if that can happen anything can. I really want you to be wrong (no offence) but you might not be ☹.
However I still buy that Ferne was made to as by all accounts they were still together for quite some time into his sentence.

I know. There’s a reason I don’t work there full time! It’s too stressful and distressing to be there full time and you feel extremely judgemental of judges and social workers. Like I say I can’t go into more detail but some of the circumstances I’ve seen have been shocking and yet 3x visits minimum a week. The cost to the government to support it all is horrendous as well !

Trawling Instagram for a new girlfriend is rather tragic. If this story is even true. He seems to have changed his dating options to "not ruling out having a same-sex relationship".

Don’t normally comment but I agree with this - I am a social worker in adults. The reason I don’t work in children’s is because during training (one of many examples) I took three beautiful children to have contact with their birth parents. The parents turned up stinking of booze and tore me to shreds because my car was small and in their opinion unsafe (it wasn’t). The same parents had thrown their eldest son (4) repeatedly at a wall breaking many of his bones, physically abused their other two kids (3 and 1). You’d be amazed at who gets access/custody to see their kids, nervmind brief contact sessions. Its horrifying. Social workers get a lot of stick for removing kids willy nilly but it’s actually really hard to remove kids and cease contact, violent crimes etc or not. So yeah can vouch for this - she will have been made to do it If she didn’t decide to herself. Anyway, back to the goss. ☺️
