I didnt know he had mental health issues - I'm just going from what my friend told me but I'll take back my comment that he is a vile human being, instead I'll say his behaviour was vile. I have a lot of empathy for people who are struggling mentally but I still don't find it acceptable to be utterly delightful to those he feels worthy yet verbally and physically abusive towards people he deems to be below him. Apologies if my comments offended anyone that was never the intention!

It can take years to get a bi-polar diagnosis (I actually thought the old term manic depression was better, as it's more accurate, not sure why it changed). I've definitely had paranoia, moodswings high and low and terrible mood crashes. I try to explain to my doctor - when I get an emotional episode it feels like someone's jumped on my head, the anxiety is high and the ruminating thoughts go on and on. I've been a bad sleeper for decades (boyf says I'm the worst sleeper in the world). No delusions that I'm aware of, but really bad depression can hit like a freight train and it exhausts you.

Makes me wonder what was up with good old Cilla...because one thing I do know, if you are awful to other people, you're not a happy person inside.

Don't take it back on account of what I've said.
Maybe I'm wrong? I'll have a google tomorrow. I was just very sure he'd being diagnosed that's why I posted.
Either way he shouldn't be being rude!

One of the greatest mysteries for me is how David Walliams of all people managed to bag Lara Stone. They were such an odd couple. Like Stephen Fry and his husband, they are another odd pairing. I always thought David Walliams was gay, but is he playing it up for laughs?

Brittany Murphys death anyone ?

Speculation that her mum and dad started seeing each other after her death ( Brittany's mother lived with them when she died). Then he died the exact same way. Was all very strange. I loved her in Clueless
That was super strange! Then her dad kept requesting hearings to look into her case but always missed them so they just stuck with their original finding. I think Brittany was very ill mentally and physically and her relationship with my mother was very co dependant.

There is a documentary that has been shown recently about it. I feel like it’s going to be the same story as Natalie Wood - we’ll never truly know

I think it's difficult with someone who clearly has mental health problems. Whilst his behaviour is unacceptable and people should be able to disengage and protect themselves from dealing with it, it seems too harsh to call him a horrible human.
I agree he should be accountable for his actions but it's complex.

I think it comes across as creepy because it's not entirely sincere. He puts on a front and hides behind characters because he can't interact on a level. Goodness knows what he's like in private when he's relaxed but I really feel for someone who has been honest about having mental health problems and how that affects their interactions, who is in the public eye and has those reactions scrutinised.
I have mental health problems but I still know how to conduct myself properly and treat people well. I don’t agree with mental health problems being a pass for being horrible to people, regardless of what you do for a living

Yes just Cheryl 🙄 imagine thinking your in the same league 😂 she’s proper cringe
I don’t think she thought she was anywhere near in the same league as them really, but I think it’s more likely that she had had 3 surnames and so thought it easier to use one name, Cole was the best surname yet not hers!

Totally, sick of people using their mental health issues as excuses for all the bad things in their life.

Gives me the absolute and utter creeps. There's something malevolent about him.
Several people have said the same about Walliams too.
Furtive Phil and "wholesome " Holly the massive coke-head, heard that from peeps who work with them.
Apparently she's worse when with him.

Stephen Fry.
I remember seeing him on "Who Do You Think You Are?" It was an interesting and even moving episode.
However, I remember him telling his family someone in their ancestors was a hairdresser, and them all laughing so much, in a condescending way. I thought he's not as nice as he makes out. What a horrible snob.

Google Jean Spangler for a mystery involving Kirk Douglas!

That seems to actually be true so sad and horrific.

However, if episodes only manifest themselves by being a piece of tit towards in peeps with less power my usual sympathy is somewhat strained. If you're all sweetness and light to the "right people". Nah, not so much.

I saw this guy on TV yesterday going off a treadmill and under some mats anyone got any nicest man in pop Little Leo Sayer stories ? Only nice ones guys I need one childhood memory to hold on to :p

I knew someone who knew him back in the day and apparently he was a joy to work with. Totally genuine and used to make sure he thanked everyone he worked every day. Didnt just walk out of the studio like some stars did. Nice guy 😘
