There's an assumption that Kate switched from Downe House to Marlborough because Marlb has (had?) joint events with Eton and some call it "Eton's sister school".
Teachers and students deny that Kate was ever bullied at Downe and switched because of that. There's the story that someone left poop on Kate's pillow at Downe, but she was only ever a day pupil, so what pillow? She did board part-time at a prep school before Downe and at Marlborough.

I have to add that I don't know whether this is true and whether Eton ties with Marlborough, but if it does then I believe this story (that Kate was made to change schools to be closer to Eton), as it fits with the rest of the Middletons' efforts.

Having known a few people who went to Downe House, I'd actually say that you'd have better luck meeting Eton boys at Downe than at Marlborough - as Marlborough is co-ed they don't really do mixing with other schools, (although the boys do play Eton at sports a lot) in a social capacity, but Downe (and other Girls Schools) would have joint events with schools like Eton. I also know that day-girls often had futons (which they kept their pillows on top of) for when they stayed over - so that might explain the pillow rumours!

Good to know! I'm filing that rumour under "highly unlikely" then.
That may very well have been the case, as you say. Good on the Midds then, if she's been bullied, to have acted quickly and changed schools.

Kate used to moon boys from her dorm at Marlborough.

I remember feeling bullied on MN, when I first went onto it then it’s like certain posters don’t think that newbies should have so much of an opinion and I had loads and these 2 witches started coming on EVERY TV thread I was on and then I realised that you can change your settings so that other users can’t follow you around, isn’t that bad that these women did that?! Playground mafia mothers is what they were like, and it annoyed me because in real life then I guarantee they wouldn’t have said half the stuff they said to me, it got that bad I changed my name and email address etc and made settings all private.

Unless Charles predeceased William, she will be Queen Consort, like it or not. She may not use the title but that's what she will be. Just like she is Princess of Wales.

It's a well known fact, she will not be given the title Queen Consort. Princess Consort, or most likely, a completely new title altogether
