Diana may have been bipolar, she was in treatment, esp for her eating disorder which was started by Chuck commenting how she felt "a bit podgy" during the engagement.

The Windsors did treat her like crap though and had rules. Like she could never see her family for Xmas and she said before engagement & marriage, everyone was sweet and wonderful towards her, but after they married things turned sour, because there was a change in importance internally (Diana now highest ranking female next to the queen and a newcomer) and that wasn't taken too well.

Imagine your fiance being for hours on the phone to another woman, your newly minted husband for hours on the phone to another woman during the honeymoon (on a yacht! those calls were expensive!), going off hunting with that woman for weekends and when you want a 3rd child your husband saying "no" because he consulted said woman first, who said "two suffices".
I think that'd duck anyone up. She couldn't even have a harmonious engagement and honeymoon without the other woman shadowing her.

Much has changed (for the better) because of Diana and how they treated her and her spiralling because of it, hence Will & Kate spending some Xmas in Berkshire and the Midds being in Norfolk for Xmas, unthinkable in Diana's time.

I mean that photo is a bit misleading. You’ve got two photos from a similar angle and another from a completely different angle, of course the two are going to look similar whilst the other sticks out like a sore thumb.

I saw a pic ages ago of a young Charles and he looked more like Harry than I thought he would, I don’t buy this rumour personally. Especially if there’s a chance Diana didn’t even meet the other guy till after Harry was born?

He’s never hidden it to be fair. I watched this morning the other week and there was some filler footage of them going with Gino to find mushrooms in the woods from about 10 years ago. PS, after holding Gino’s hand for a short period of time made a joke about how lovely it was to hold Gino’s hand. Probably loads of little bits of footage like that over the years of him outing himself like that, probably got a proper kick out of it knowing it would have gone over the heads of those watching at home.

He hid it from his wife and mother though didn’t he? I don’t think the public are important with PS sexuality in all honesty, it’s most likely that his career wouldn’t have taken off back then if he had said he was gay, which shows you were the world was back then but he used his wife for his own needs.

Consensus on the PS thread is that his wife was in on it all along. A lavender marriage. No idea what his parents thought.

Everyone in the business knew he was gay it was an open secret. If you haven’t already I’d go check out the threads on him, eye opening.

Totally this. They don’t even look alike in those photos to me. Different chin, nose, smile and hair.

Also, I think the Windsors would love to stick it to Diana, especially after they split up and the divorce. They wouldn't have tolerated a cuckoo child and used anything during divorce proceedings to minimize payout and dent her popularity (show her as homewrecker, who bore another man's child) etc.

Yeah Liz the queen mum allegedly only ever had time for heirs, i.e. Charles and William. William was showered with attention and invites, Harry not so much.

The old crone was far from the "nice old granny", which her image was built on. There's a number of good docus on her on YouTube, if anyone's interested. One's called "I'm not as nice as people think I am". She was cold, calculated, shrewed, mean.
