What was the big surprise she harped on about for so long? Balloons?
Oh ffs they actually got white balloons.
I gotta say that raw vegan cake is impressive to look at. A shame Sarah couldn't have ordered something like that for her sister's birthday instead of making that monstrosity they all had to choke down.
Her stans believe anything that comes out of her mouth and she is constantly gaslighting her followers.
My understanding is that gaslighting is manipulating someone into questioning their memories and reality?Gaslighting has become a buzzword of late and far too often, we use it as a substitute for flagrant lying without making the distinction.
To gaslight someone is to create a condition where you harm someone by distorting their perception of reality, effectively rewriting it to suit your own narrative. The other person is the target.
Sarah only distorts her own perception of reality. She's lying and giving others false information to protect herself and her neuroses. Let's be really clear on that.

I agree that Sarah says things to distort her own reality, but she also does it to discredit others.
Not at all! It’s interesting to learn about. It is, but it's also more specific than that. It's emotional abuse, part of coercive control, and doing it on such a scale as Sarah's platform lacks the selectivity that drives gaslighting. When she lies, it's about her, not the person that's watching. It feels like it is because we see the pattern, but a person being gaslit doesn't truly see the pattern. People being gaslit don't know they're being gaslit.
Rewriting her own narrative isn't necessarily gaslighting either - that manipulation is a fine line but think about the intent and desired outcome of that control. It's about getting her own way and avoiding uncomfortable truths about herself. Persuading others to believe her own subjective truth is one thing, routinely campaigning to invalidate millions of people's experiences of you to make them doubt it is another. In Sarah's case, she uses that subjective truth to engage in a monologue - an ongoing conversation with herself. How many times has she gone out of her way to rewrite history when absolutely no one asked? It's her own preoccupation with her identity. Not yours or mine.
She is, however, self-absorbed, gutless, rude, and unethical.
Apologies if it feels like i've singled you out - it's just that spending years doing specialist mental health training has made me alert to what labels are used and why. My pedantic ass can't help itself
