Sammi Maria #2 Finally single, wannabe spiritual...still painfully delusional.

I'll always remember their first boyfriend tag. They said Jason was in the property industry and was on a business trip when they'd met in Ibiza. I remember being impressed that Sammi had found a man with his own independent, successful career, who wouldn't be interested in riding her coattails like Ricky had. I swear, we were all HOODWINKED.

Me too. I remember this so clearly 😂. I'm shocked he has a job. I guess he has "beautycrush" all over his CV and made up roles he did for her brand because otherwise there would be huge gaps 😂. I Also think he might have connections. Get the vibe his family are well off maybe?

And Novem and Knight. Remember Sammi would always say he was in charge of that. He was even registered as coowning it right? or something like that ? He was hoodwinking Sammi pretending to do work for the brand 😂.

Novem and Knight was such a disaster. I bought the dress they launched with and did actually really like it, and it was really good quality of I remember rightly, I just don’t think it was executed well at all! What did he even do?!

Novem and Knight showed promise, particularly with Sam's growing popularity on YouTube. However, running a clothing brand is no easy feat, requiring an immense amount of resources and dedication to manage tasks such as branding, copywriting, website maintenance, material sourcing, payroll, and social media upkeep. The list never ends.

Exactly, and I feel like they weren’t particularly into the business side of it? I think they wanted the good side of having a brand without the commitment. Did they only ever have that one drop? I can’t remember. I know I had the dress they launched with but can’t remember if they had a second collection at all. I think I remember they did a couple of beanie hats but that was it.

Their first instagram post for N&K dates back to February 2015, but their first gazette strike-off was in 2018, so they managed to sustain the business for quite a while.

Sorry for the double post! Even though N&K didn't quite make it, I have to give Sam props for attempting to launch a jewelry brand, even if it was a collaborative effort. It was a nice change of pace to see her take on something solo, especially considering she was still married to Jason and raising Indie. I've been a fan of Sam's from the start, and while she's been in a bit of a rut for quite a bit, I'm still rooting for her and following her social media journey in the hopes that she finds her footing. It's clear that motherhood hasn't been a walk in the park for her, especially with the added stress of going through a separation. Despite all of that, I truly can't find a single negative thing to say about her. Over the years, I've noticed that Sam has been on a journey to discover her true self and remain relevant. Although many of us who grew up with her have moved on to different phases of life, it seems like she's still holding on to certain aspects of the past. Everyone has their own unique journey and progress at their own pace.

Yes, as influencers or youtubers go she seems a generally decent person. I wouldn't have anything overly negative to say about her either.

Also I think I remember that Jason staying in his office all the time 😂. Doubt he was doing anything except playing video games. He didn't even seem present at all as a parent even though he was physically there in the same house.

I’ve always liked Sam, been following her years, probably about 10 years or so now. I think she’s doing really well considering what she’s been through. It’s really nice to see her flourish in single life, especially as a mum.

I don’t seem to like Sam as much as everybody else here does. Agree that as influencers go, she’s not an unpleasant person and is remarkably unproblematic. She is however utterly excruciating to watch and so frustrating she often makes me want to slap her. Suspect that’s a me problem though. 😊

I can only assume what's bothering you is that her content is targeted towards a younger audience, and it seems like most of us have moved on from that phase by now - we just might not find it funny or relevant. In my perspective, she wasn't prepared for motherhood and didn't feel like herself for a significant time. I've noticed that she's beginning to regain her sense of self and revert to her former self before Indie, despite some of us moving on from certain behaviours or even style of content we would post. And that’s fine. Not everyone’s journey is the same. Her content is harmless and probably gives her joy. Let’s just let her be. She seems happier.

Sorry to add on, but I also feel like perhaps Jason (with his mental health issues) wasn’t a present parent as stated earlier, in addition, she, who obviously wasn’t ready to be a mum, was having a baby perhaps as thats what was expected of her, only for her partner completely (who probably egged her on) to check out of being a partner and parent. She probably did loose herself. I suspect whilst shes finding herself shes reclaiming her lost years, and doing the things or being the person she couldnt be, which is why a lot of us probably cant relate too much.

Just my thoughts - I may be wrong.

She's always irritated me actually. :)

If anyone has seen that video where this woman is on the phone to her husband saying she's going to have a catch up with a friend, but he refuses to stay with the kids and look after them as it's "her job". I feel Jason was that kind of parent who thought he was "babysitting" indie whenever Sammi had something to do and she couldn't be a person without him

Jason gave me the impression that he would rely on Sam to do everything since she works from home. Some people fail to grasp the idea of what it means to be working from home. Just because you work from home doesn't mean you can juggle everything at once. Sam might have the freedom to work in her PJs and take midday naps, but Jason really milked that for all it's worth! In my opinion, Sam made a lot of sacrifices while she was with Jason, prioritizing his mental health over her own needs.
