I like the 'free, obviously' remark. If it's obviously free, it doesn't need to be said.

I would expect meeting any influencer doing a paid appearance for a brand to be free. It's not like they have any special skills at all, and they aren't celebs, despite their overinflated personal opinions of themselves. The idea of being asked to buy a ticket to meet them (refundable against any purchase!) feels like the equivalent of passing a pint glass round for tips for the stripper.

Our Sal. Always making things seem cheaper and crappier.

I can't bring myself to speak of the teef. Shudder.

When Russia invaded Ukraine Beauty Banks sent Dramatically Different Gel amongst other things. I say sent, they dropped them off at Balham and another charity took them. I think they'd have preferred money and arms tbh, Sal.

I can’t think of a time I’ve seen Sali recommend a Clinique product. I mean, if you’re going to bleep yourself out for a brand, at least make it one you actually use and recommend.

There are a few Clinique products I really rate:

Take The Day Off Balm, and Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil
Cheek Pop blush (they just need to release more shades over here, like the lilac one)

Years ago a kind Clinique staff member in boots Manchester had advise me to not use the three step plan anymore as it was ruining my skin. Her colleague had just advised moving to a different selection which would help fix my skin issues. she waited till she had gone, scurried over looking horrified and apologised for her. I don’t think she lasted very long on that counter!

She’s a normal woman of her age, smizing, but she looks nice. She doesn’t look like a weird eye bleeping egg.
---

Those teefs are not good. Her eye crinkles say that using acid and denying eye cream is not the right path, though.
I was going to say the exact same thing. She looks so different here to the one presented on her IG. But she looks normal, and one that I would find relatable. Wtf does she do to her pics that makes them look so bloody weird?!

I really like the TTDO balm and the Pop lipsticks. I don't even know if they still do those lipsticks but they were really good, moisturising without being greasy and also had good colour pay off and decent wear time.

As a teen, I spent some money I didn’t have on a Clinique moisturiser and I have never had so many spots pop up over the day. It really wrecked my skin.

not learning, I bought Happy in duty free (I’m not like other girls, I go to duty free) 2 years ago and now I have a bottle of cats piss scent in my cupboard.

Me and Clinique are not the one, clearly.

i used to find that French products were good for cool toned skin - bourjois was the only pale enough foundation for me and I don’t use bronzer because there’s just no part of me that ‘catches the sun’ but now I’m pondering if I should try and find a pale one.
