I've obviously been living under a (teeny tiny) rock becoth I was so struck by the name, I thought this must be a new product but no, I found reviews going back almost two years - including the one on Revolution's own website which declared "Non greasy is a lie! ... For me it's unusable and I'll be requesting a refund"

I'm often struck by how people in the US seem to be able to get a refund on products they've tried merely if they don't like them, whereas here in UK it's very difficult. I had a real battle some years ago to get YSL Touche Eclat refunded after it gave me horrible eczema around my eyes.
Yeah it’s been out ages. Sali keeps trying to shoehorn it into ‘day in the lifes’ but it’s tit, probably why you’ve not heard of it before now; the influencers did their obligatory posts when it was released, then threw it away

Just catching up on the thread and heard the DOES YOUR SUITCASE HAVE A TICKET audio. She sounds like she’s on the verge of tears when the woman doesn’t just roll over and lick her boots and she gets more and more wound up, it’s hilarious. She literally can not have a reasoned disagreement can she. She sounds like such an embarassing, shrill, hysterical aggressive nut job.

It's when the woman asks what she should do with her case and Sali shrilly blusters something like 'you should........it's ridiculous' as she has no bleeping clue.
The woman stays calm and polite throughout whilst Sali gets more rude and unhinged.

Is it because testers generally aren't allowed in the US and all products have to be sealed? I wish it was similar here, it would be so handy to be able to return stuff.

Brands in the US seem to have really excellent guides and charts to help select shades - L'Oréal i recall had a plastic grid of coloured squares which you held over your skin and the square which disappeared was the right powder match. Having worked that out, they then recommended the shades of blush and foundation to match. It was amazing - totally spot on.

The plastic coloured squares method sounds ingenious. I’ve never heard about it before. And I find most testers completely disgusting. The US method would be perfect for me. 😂

The laughing emoji was an accident. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

Bronzers are warm by nature but Benefit Hoola is on the neutral end of things. They do a light version too for pale, Sali types.

Yeah, but when people 'bronze' naturally in the sun, not everybody develops a golden tan, some people - myself included - develop more of a ruddy tan, so a bronzer leaning more red is a godsend. All the incarnations of Benefit Hoola and Nars Laguna are still too golden/orange on me. And that is legal fact. Bangs gavel and brooks no riposte.

I bought one of the bronzers as its got a lot of red in it, which suits me better than golden bronzers. (Im mega cool toned and bronzers pull orange on me) Colour is lovely, but it's so pigmented that it's really hard to use or build.

Any recommendations for cool toned bronzers send my way beefys.
Would love a cool toned bronzer rec!

Nabla bronzer in Soft Revenge has a murky cool-ish green tone to it. My light skinned cousin swears by it.

Tower 28 bronzer in Pacific Coast has a deep red-burgundy tone. Good if you've got deep or dark skin, but could work for light skin too if very light handed.

Found on X/twitter. There you go, Sali, #solidarity (tbf sprawling and feet on seats is a bridge too far with me)

She finally got on the a bus! 🎉 And she got paid for it but she helped with everyone's gripes and challenges for free, obvs. 🥲
